we can't understand how a seemingly Ku beam is receivable with cband..my point is..prepare ur post well before updating here and it's not wrong to say u "stand to be corrected" if u r not so confident in whatever you post... viva FTA and am patiently waiting for a clear info on apstar 7.

from my location, gatundu kenya, my equipment being SRT 4922 HD receiver, 160 cm prime focus dish, supermax 777 c-band lnb. am receiving apstar 7 @76.5 east at a signal strength of 97% and quality of 70% lowering to 68% to some channels.

Av noticed the Kenyan Mux on Eutelsat10E freq3729 R10321 5/6is only visible in the Evenings from 7pm cant watch it during the day. Despite using a Eurostar 8ft dish Supermax C band lnb, Echolink 4777hd decoder. Location is Eldama Ravine (Bondeni) Anyone experienced this!

That's also my case (8ft dish, eurostar ESDT700 Lnb, SRT 4950H. Location Naivasha). The signal is maximum on Satlink 6912 satellite finder at the evening but no signal during the day but the rest frequencies are okay throughout

For starters, your pf dish should be well configured and all bolts fastened. Now try and skew your lnbs properly. Ensure the teflon is intact. Surprisingly, I employed the Zuku Fta Decoder to fine-tune this setup. Incse you have noticed, the SRTs are not to best for fine lnb setting.

TIME: 11:33am. Currently on Eutelsat 10a@10e. KENYAMUX Sig-84% Quality-80%. Dish size-8ft (eutostar). Lnb-Supermax.

Location- KERICHO.
I never lose Kenyamux 24/7. That is to say I get to watch LOCALS whenever I want all day and all night. Infact not one bit do they "scratch". This tp (3729V10321) is not affected even by the heaviest downpour here.
And I've had this setup for a long while now.

Meanwhile, I stay put awaiting +ve results from your ends. Thx

some channels has only audio but no video, and vice versa some has both but the $ sign is on the screen as you watch.

this apstar saga is becomming escrow of fta to clear the matter(my views) when you set ku band parameters on a c band lnb the frequencies appear as ku ones ie a scan on is 902 citizen appears as 11060 H3099 while its counter part ntv appears as 11012 H 4213 my equipment is strong 4922 but its counter part 4950m displays different things but what I can't and wouldn't understand is how a to listed on lyngsat as, ,,,,,,,beam how do I get it?am dissapointed with these things

Please understand him clearly and infact this is what I also experimented in the morning to ascertain his truth. For example in 10e, cband if you your setting is cband ie single 5150 and blindscan it will give you the normal 4 digits, but should you change your setting into universal ie ku setting and blindscan without changing the lnb from cband it will give you the 5 Ku digits but SR won't change. What I havent tried is vice-versa. Its funny! Give trial
