It is possible to nail with 120 cm coz I'm using 6ft + twin stargoldfuji with strength & quality of 90/90 on fox tp.Make sure your dish is well aligned

Please note, OpenView Hd is for the South African Market only thus you would need to purchase the receiver from SA.
Decoder needs to be activated in south Africa with mobile phone.
Open signal is available on SES 5 satellite @ 5 degrees East which covers Sub Sahara Africa.

Can you activate the OVHD decoder outside south africa?.A friend of mine will bring the decoder to me without activating it since he does not have access to the satellite dish.

yes you can, but you must have someone in SA to do it for you.

FS1 First Strike is an older version I recommend that you go for FS1 SE which can be used with diSeqC switch FS1 cannot do that. Again the are Chinese fakes around so be careful of what you buy. Go to their website www.firststrike.com it may help you.

Off-air for now. But the K24 TP on NSS12, 57E is still very stable. Watched it last night using a 90Cm dish plus Inverto Black LNB. 11554-H-3300, DVB-S2, MPEG4, QPSK.
There was also a feed, "K24 Fly-away" on Amos 5 broadcasting speech by Ban ki-Moon (UN chief) live from state house ......
