I was searching for tv3 ghana tv on intelsat 801 @ 18 degree but failed terribly. so i decided to turned 1.8 pf antenna to eutelsat 5 west A. suprisingly KTN pop up and it was very stable. I am using ESCDT-700 TWIN EUROSTAR,

try adding an extra KU LNB on top to nab NILESAT

I have improved the quality with over 15% and added the number of tps on all birds I have been nabbing just by cutting open the front flat part of lnb then covering up with a transparent material like a glass as recommended by one of gurus here. picha baadae

I finally managed to nail all MyHD Channels in Kerio Valley 130 cm dish albeit after sweating for close to three hours in the scorching heat of the valley. What I didn't get are the MBC Channels thought the signal beam is just like the others. What perplexed me also is that you get a transponder with different polarities but you only nail one. Eg 10890 V 27500 and 10890 H 27500. You only get one polarity. I also called myHD customer care for activation and it took only a minute. No questions like the other providers based in the Middle East.

Thanks Sir, long time sir and hope you are doing well. Am yet to try using the card on MBC channels on Nilesat but will do it. If it will work then it is well and good because it is difficult to nail MBC channels on Badr 4/5/6. Very elusive indeed. I got all the other channels including CNNi in HD mode, wonderful you can't believe the crystal clear images. Only if your tv is HD full. The signal must be over 75% otherwise it will be scratchy.
