FYI the MBC mux on Eutelsat 7 West A has moved from 12322 V to 12467 H so rescan if you are wondering.. the Signal on the former Transponder is still active.. just no transmission. Where is Al Jazeera .. I miss it on this bird.. 🙁

Mbc mux is still on the former tp and the new tp has no signal on my end. Check Aljazeera International on 12015 V 27500

Interesting.. the 12015 V is on Nilesat 201. I have optimized my 130cm for Eutelsat 7 west A knowing I am gonna get better reception for rain which is on its way...( muhahaha..evil laugh 🙂 ...) unitl I get a better LNB. As for the other 'MBC' something other members need to confirm on both Transponders.. FYI my FOX TP are doing over 90 % Quality and the TOP Movies TP is 100 % Quality..MBC is at 84 % Quality now.

thats great with my 65cm i can only manage 62% on the fox tp and watching the mbcs at night only at 61% quality location Kitengela. i am going to upgrade soon to a bigger dish

That my friend is Eutelsat 36E. Your dish is facing Upward.. DSTV angle.. right ? A 90 cm will do well with Eutelsat 7 West A, you get plenty of channels, you need to lower your dish westward... and scan the location.. a satellite finder will come in handy when doing that, the elevation angle for your dish on the markers behind should point at ~39 degrees.. meaning the dish itself will be almost vertical facing west.. scan the forum.. plenty of info..around.

Get yourself to smart electronics opposite tuskys express entrance.. go to the first floor. a 135cm offset dish is 4800 bob. Cheapest in town..I think.

You are still on the ds** bird, thats why most of the channels are scrambled apart from the obvious ebru tv,dish on tv promo and the cctv channels. Your dish should be facing west almost vertical, input or scroll to 12322 V on your decoder and make sure you see the signal intensity and signal quality graphs on your screen and move your dish until you get a good quality signal. After this do a blind scan and you will be on Eutelsat 7W enjoying the likes of Top Gear on Mbc Action and unlimited movies on Mbc 2 among other channels

It was a something like an 18 feet dish placed upside down then grass is neatly placed to make a roof..... i almost fainted.... Man the things i can do with such a Dish...:nono::nono:

I have always received the MBCs on 12322v and 12303v. Both are still there loud and clear as at 1910Hrs today.

Thats Ses 5 at 5E. You need to lower your dish down abit to nab 7W

You are almost there thats SES5 @5deg East the sat with DW TV, now a little lower you will get 7E the sat with rogrigues channels and muvi tv and little lower and you will have hit the jackpot 7W. Note now dont move the dish sideways only up or down. Good luck and make sure your lnb is at 9 o'clock

Different sats,different positions,different channels...... choose the channels/satellites then setup your equip. Use the charts e.g www.flysat.com or from forum talk.....

My friend, if you are changing satellites on the decoder but the dish is still facing the same direction, you will keep getting the same result. It is time you folded your sleeves, climbed the roof and did some dish alignment if you need to get different results!
