what is happening to citizen? it just disappeared all over sudden on satelites, SES5 and intelsat 902 and intelsat20
 
I have managed to connect SRT4922 to Wifi using USB to Wifi Adaptor.The secret is to source the right adapter with Ralink Chipset recommended model is Ralink RT5370.Note any latest SRT4922 firmware will work. DSC00004.JPG DSC00008.JPG
 
Hi guyz...can one be able to watch kenyan local channels on ses 5 that is found on zuku zone free using an fta hd decorder??

coincidentally ..it also disappeared on DVB-T2 so it seems to me the issue was with them.. but its sorted now.. I hope.
 
I didn't know tracking with a 130cm is a whole new game.. I was used to the 90cm + beeper...and It was all good...I will have to use the Beeper and digi-finder when I have time..before the rains 🙁 Any tips on how to track with a 130cm offset ?
 
Hi Forum members in Kenya, I need some quick help here. A friend of mine is coming to Kenya and is willing to buy for me an LNB. Please share with me if Inverto Black Ultra Quad of Samson Quad are available at Rwira Electronics. Ant body with 1st hand information on the price too can quote for me. if possible share a contact number with me for a shop with these LNBs so that i can talk to them directly. Thanks in advance for reading my request. (I intend to use the lnb on my 130cm offset first be4 i transfer it to a bigger pf dish in a few weeks)
 
Okay, now that the SES 5 party is over, can we find solutions to this querry?

I have three questions about SRT 4922.
1- How does SRT 4922 stream media files to or from a PC? What is the procedure?
2- When transfering a channel list file (cndf format) from one SRTY 4922 to another, the stb asks you to choose between Default or Normal. Which is the right one?
3- What is the use of FTP under Menu-External Device?

I dont understand your first question. Kinda ambigious. I used to watch dth telly using a laptop but I was using a TV/FM Tuner hooked on the decoder. As I said your question is .....
Am unable to answer your second question.
Third question. File Transfer Protocol ( FTP ) is a
standard network protocol used to
transfer files from one host to another in our case, a usb hdd or flash drive to your decoder.
Thats my two cents
 
I was in Lilongwe some few days ago and when went to have a drink with a friend in his Bros place and we sat out in a Gazebo... well made and to my utter most horror i saw this.... IMG_20140303_164136_0.jpg

It was a something like an 18 feet dish placed upside down then grass is neatly placed to make a roof..... i almost fainted.... Man the things i can do with such a Dish...:nono::nono:
