will sure do that so that i can also aim for digiturk goodies. thanks
to avoid disappointments please go for at least 180 cm prime-focus dish with a prime-focus LNBF like stargold fuji, or go for a 1.5 m offset dish. Good luck.

FYI the MBC mux on Eutelsat 7 West A has moved from 12322 V to 12467 H so rescan if you are wondering.. the Signal on the former Transponder is still active.. just no transmission. Where is Al Jazeera .. I miss it on this bird.. 🙁
You can also get Aljazeera, BBC world, euronews, france 24 english, CNN all on 7A at 7E.

Plz more light on nsss 12@56 give us d tp nd whether are on hd

That my friend is Eutelsat 36E. Your dish is facing Upward.. DSTV angle.. right ? A 90 cm will do well with Eutelsat 7 West A, you get plenty of channels, you need to lower your dish westward... and scan the location.. a satellite finder will come in handy when doing that, the elevation angle for your dish on the markers behind should point at ~39 degrees.. meaning the dish itself will be almost vertical facing west.. scan the forum.. plenty of info..around.

Thanks for the advice got onto ses5 will tweak later

Sorted out the MBC mixed transponder... funny thing there.. when I was playing around with the LNB high and Low frequencies.. thats when the shift happened, I had put in 10750 for the LNB LO, I returned it to universal and all was fine.. the channels started showing.. and the dummy transponder went off.. learning everyday. ..for those mathematically inclined, the shift was effected by the frequency thus;

The MBC TP is coming down from satellite to LNB on 12322 Mhz
The LNB receives the downlink and subtracts the LO frequency 10600 Mhz
What travels down to my receiver through the coax cable is 1722 Mhz

reason for shift:

If the receiver has the same frequency of 10600 Mhz, it adds the Intermediate Frequency of 1722 Mhz
(10600+1722 =12322) and scans that transponder and displays MBC.

The problem is that when you change the LO like in my case to 10750 Mhz , the addition of the IF comes down to..
(10750 +1722 = 12472)

12472 -12467 (funny TP) = 5 Mhz

Most receivers are programmed to check for the IF at 2 - 5 Mhz so thats why it displayed the channels at 12467.

Watched LIVE K'ogallo aka Gor Mahia receive a thorough thrashing from Esperence on Tunisia1 10796 Mhz - Eutelsat 7 West A at 7.3°W😡

But as for Al Jazeera, I only receive The Arabic Version, the english version is missing on that transponder.

You'll get it on 12015v, along with NHK World and EuroNews.
