Open question.Is there a difference btn a ku band and c band in name or make?

Hi Psolo and the rest of the house? There is a differnce. first, generally ku band lnbs are smaller in size than the c band lnbs. Technically, ku band lnbs receive linear polarized frequencies while the c band lnbs receive circular polarized frequencies.They are non super-imposable. Ku band lnbs are designed to work best on offset dishes while C band lnbs are for prime focus dishes. However Ku band lnbs are also widely used on prime focus dishes. ASAS has pushed Some forum members into trying the C band lnb on offset dishes too. Good evening.

Hi Lagat chamge. Kenyan channels r loud n clear all day all night 24/7 kericho, kenya. Wd a quality of 70-74percent on a zuku HD decdr, Aaaah I am gud 2 go. Dish ni eurostar 240cm. @ REGIMENT do u read me? Thx great members. Snapshots taken sunday btwn 9am n 11am.

Mambo vipi Elyakim. I am not an expert but I suggest u upgrade 2 8ft. Going by similar posts on this great forum, it seems 6ft may not deliver well on KENYAMUX@10e. Why dont we ask other members living next 2 u 2 feedback their findings. Hey GURUS PLZ RESCUE ELYAKIM. Info on voi 10A@10e footprint coverage is welcome. Thx members, u guys r great.

Here is the pic of 10e@7e SAT COMBO. On da centre is 10A@10e c-band(supermax) prime lnb. On top is ses 5 ku band(eurostar ES QP4-HD 0.5db with four independent outputs). Da prime lnd deliver da following channels w/o fail: Qtv, utv,star movies, star one, star africa, TIMES TV, Gbs, Ntv, Ktn,K24,Kbc,God tv,Sayare,Kidsco,Triple P,cctv news, Bloomberg, Fox News, Nigezie(HipHop MUSIC lovers check it out) etc. Top lnb Ses 5 delivers ses5 channels, etc with maximum Quality posble. Hi Mankuri I am glad 2 hear from u sir. U know what I actually sourced 4 dis eurostar 8ft on olx.co.ke. Halafu somedody who did not really value it swaped it with a zuku complete kit. Of course i topped up kitu kidogo tu. Talk of a deal going 2 gooood. Howvr guys on this forum shuld tell us if its now available@RIWIRA or anywhere else...n at what cost plzzz?

I was at Riwira last week . What they have is the 6ft pf. For the offset, the biggest they have is a 130cm.

Those guys recieving 10A, do you recieve Kenyan mux with Teflon in or out .i decided to climb the roof today in mind to nail 10A nail canal 3 monde and some $$$ stv but failed to pop up using 1.8m, set 4922 and supermax. those using this setup to rescue me.

hallo 2 u MRMWASH. 4 starters I hope by offset lnb u mean ku-band n by pf lnb u mean c-band. Honestly speaking de choice of primary or secondary lnb on prime focus setup solely DEPENDS on de birds u want 2 nail besides what is practically possible on ur target sat combo or setup. As ALWAYS da bigger da dish da better. Pliz check out da followings setups from this n other fora. Note that da c-band on de 3rd pic has been positioned as prime lnb on offset dish. Interesting isnt it? BUT AS THE GURUS IN THIS HOUSE SAY, WITH FTA ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Fta is kinda a spirit. So in the spirit of fta mrmwash fumbua mbinu mpya. I saw somebody nail NILESAT with an upside down dish.

I received info that family tv is in talk with other local stations to have Kenyan mux on ku and they will be migrating from Amos5. Only NTV are yet to agree
