Rename the software(after extracting) to flash.bin then insert it on an empty usb. Switch the decoder ON using rear switch while pressing menu button on the remote until upgrade appears on the screen.Release menu button and let it upgrade without switching OFF the decoder.Once the download is finished, the decoder will reboot.

Members, i managed BBC and NBC, although the former fluctuates sometimes. Haven't managed A#N. On v7 combo NBC has a signal of strength of 30% and SRT 4922 has 50% which keeps fluctuating. Anyone who has stabilized A#N? I need it most coz of the American programs.

I don't know where you are going wrong. I will post some pictures when i am up on the roof again. NBC usually has the highest.

Hallo Pals, incase your strong 4922 is fried/bricked while in the process of updating software due to power failure,then one should not worry. The procedure is simple and straight forward. I happened to fry mine today but i was able to bring it back to life. So i have decided to share it with you guys.
PROCUDURE FOR RESURRECTING STRONG 4922 DECODER
1).Load the software into an empty flash disk.
2).Insert the flashdisk in the decoder while the decoder is switched OFF.
3).Switch ON the decoder using the power rear switch.
4).Keep on pressing channel up button in front of the decoder until a blue menu appears on the screen.
5).The blue menu will have four options namely;
i) Usb download (auto select)
ii)Usb download(browse)
iii)Factory reset
iv)Quit
6).Use the channel up/down button to select usb download(auto select) option & the press the front power button to select.
7).The file will start uploading, wait until it finishes & the decoder will reboot.
8).Congratulations, strong 4922 decoder back to life!!.

I had the same problem. Save the file on a formatted flash to sys32. Extract the file to have an extension .bin. Before upgrading, Export the the sofcam key to a different flash and do a backup of ur channels on the same using allcode.

Upgrade with the new flash, reset to factory settings, import sofcam key, upgrade the channels bt use user.... Will b ok.

Do you mean AF# @ 64e? It has very strong signal of 82% on SRT4922. To get it start with TVM 3656.

Giden, am refering to the one on 1w and not 64e, have u tried this one? Is the AF# package found on both have the same no of channels?
