There is a mix-up in Diseqc settings......... select appropriate dish and appropriate LNB freq in you settings...........

It was really a mixup, but;

1. How can those channels show up on a C-band Lnb when they are hosted on a ku sat? They changed when l did a blind scan while the lnb lo frequency setting was alternated between 5150 and 5750

2. Again I made a small change in the settings (without turning the dish) and I was getting the Apstar channels themselves- the ones you all know.

3. I made a small change in the settings (without turning the dish) and I was getting the Apstar channels themselves but from different tp's (those beyond what the frequency tables-flysat or lyingsat show.)

4. I made a small change in the settings (again) (without turning the dish) and I was getting transponders with five figures together with four as for a normal C- band. Please find the pics & appropriate the cases.

Finally, I have proved it that you can pic C band channels in higher frequencies of ku. Happened when I put 68.5°E C- band lnb type to 10600 instead of 5150. Aljazeera Which is on 4064 V 19850 became 12286 H 19850. This happens also with the Ku lnb is treated otherwise.

In many cases, these channels come in doubles from the same tp but one from the H the other from the V.

Find the possible applications.

I expected them to release receivers with HEVC/UHD (4K) capability but none of these has that feature.

Vince455, allow me kuteta kidogo because this have been said over and over by me, Giden, Tolgos and Thr3eee about 1.8m and above is enough.
With a 1.8m and lnb supermax VH-77 SUPER I'm receiving the hull package plus BBC Africa TV feed.

After Star TV left Is906.I need this BBC feed for Dira ya Dunia.I have tried using 1.8m and Dual Eorostar lnb but the signal is unstable.Does it mean only Supermax lnb an stabilise the signal.I have never managed to get NBC mux on this position what might be the problem.

Ever tried a bigger dish? As petrolheads are wont to say, 'there's no substitute for displacement.' I'm able to nab it comfortably using Eurostar ESCDT-700 Dual LNB coupled to a 240cm pf.
