Zantel High Life Club SUCKS

Naona sasa Zantel wameshaanza kuchokoza customers!

Its Monday morning, and I needed 2GB bundle, for 10,000 as usual, for Internet connectivity to pull myself up for the viporo vya kazi immediately.

Because, I didn't used my High-life SIM card on voice for the last 7 days I cannot get connection and so my work got stuck!

What a crapp!!!


Wait a minute,

Here I have five lines (Vodacom, Airtel, Zantel, Sasatel and Tigo) and their respective modems, and all lines are on to make my friends life easy from not getting into inter-network tariffs charges.

Lets get back to Zantel.

I joined Zantel for internet service ONLY and not voice call.

I was spending 8GB worth 40,000 a month for internet connectivity.

In my friends contact list I have only 2 Zantel contacts, which tells me I don't need to use Zantel for Voice call.

Today, I am forced to use minimum of TZS 5,000 to get enrolled again to Zantel High-life, so that I can get internet connectivity as I usually do.

What does that mean?

It means, my budget for Internet will now piles up to TZS 60,000 a month instead of TZS 40,000 as earlier where 20,000 is for voice call. Why would I use TZS 60,000 a month for ZANTEL while the market is ready to offer alternative, cheaper than that?Why would I be curtailed to the service I don't want?

Why TZS 5,000 for voice call weekly?

Zantel will tell you, we have observed that, our customers are not using their High-life SIM CARDS for voice calls and hence, those lines seems to be idle, not used, and it is our policy, and (as per tcra - if you wish) to block those idle lines.

But look, Zantel earns revenue of TZS 10,000 for 2GB weekly via the same so called idle lines, and how can they call these lines idle?

This is INSANE, and it tells us how the MARKETING DEPARTMENT are not smart!

What they could have done, a customer should have top up his line for as little as 1000 weekly per each recharge, and when it got to 5000 a month, common sense will tell a customer to use the money on voice calls.

The idea is to make internet cheap while providers earn their profits!

Honestly, I was a loyal customer for Zantel since day 1, when started using their internet service, but for this stupid policy of theirs, I am contemplating to quit for good as alternative are abundant out there.

To start with, got to check up with TIGO

Customer care nimegombana nao asubuhi....hao ni kuwaacha tu kama walivyokuwa zamani...na kama huko tunakokwenda huduma ni nzuri na hakuna mizengwe kama yao basi ndio kimoja....this really stinks!!!!!!

Pole mkuu, biashara ya watu ambao ni wavivu kufikiria, this is what normally happen hawa ndugu wakiwa in charge.

Na ili hizi kampuni zipate watu washindani lazima waache upuuzi wa kusema tutakupa 3 million mshara. That doesn't make sense, competitive candidate kwenye hii dunia anataka mshara plus profit sharing mwisho wa mwaka. That is the only way watapata business developer who will bring good products to Tanzania community and good return to Investors. Zama za mishara bila compasation ya equity zimekwisha.

You dont need to be a Genious or have a Degree from Harvard, kujua kwamba unachemka ukiforce 15,000 a week for 2 GB wakati competitor wako anatoa 3GB for the same amount alafu anaruhusu kuongezea package nyingine ikiisha before deadline haijaisha wakati wewe hauruhusu its just the basic business skills ambazo hata muuza nyanya anatumia
 
Yaani nadhani bundle yangu inakaribia kuisha kumbe ngoja nijiandae kwa disapointments..lol' sh#$## hawa zantel.. Kwanza unajua mi nliponunua line ya zantel ilikua mainly kwa ajili ya internet lakin nikaanza kuiweka online mara moja moja nikagundua ilikua cheap kidogo kuongea na watu wa nje na mitandao mingine.. lakin bei za mitandao mingine pia nw zimepungua sana, ila mbaya zaidi ambacho zantel hawajui hwa wapumbav wa mawazo ni kwamba ukiingia highlife huwez ku-access other promotions za kawaida kama za msg na kupiga kwa bei nafuu' at the end of the day highlife inakua very very expensive kuliko mitandao mengine yoooote tanzania!! watu wenye line zenye highlife wanajua kwamba highlife ni expensive ndo mana hawazitumii hizo line'

Zantel km kweli wana akili watumie advantage kwamba wateja wa internet wanasaidia watu kununua line za zantel sasa waweke competitive prices kwa hawa wateja wa highlife ili waanze kuona kutumia line ya highlife ni cheap kwa sababu watu wengi wana line hawatumii coz ni expensive.. sasa kwa kuongeza gharama kwenye bundle indirectly hawa jamaa wanafeli!! na mtaniambia watakua na wateja wangapi wa internet mpaka mwaka uishe!!

Marketing team, ndio wanaopendekeza new products, na kwa hili la zantel wameshirikisha makalio kufikiri badala ya bongo zao na Management walivyokuwa mazuzu nao waka adopt hii kuwa policy, nonsense!

Kuna hii kitu inaitwa "Who cares" as long as someone is pocketing his salary at the end of the month wana muda gani wakuanza kufikiria matatizo ya wateja wao au queries zinazoletwa no one is responsible, no one is taking actions hatuna critical thinking ya kuweza kutatua matatizo ya wateja everyone is on his own doing what he/she think is right.
 
Unajua haya makampuni pamoja na management yao wote ni mazuzu wakishauriwa na wajinga wa finance and marketing department.

Nimeingia Tz juzi usiku, kwa kuwa modem yangu ilikuwa na pesa ya kutosha; nilipotaka kujiunga highlife nikakumbana na ujumbe wa kwamba sijatumia zaidi ya sh. 5,000/= kwa voice calls ndani ya siku saba zilizopita. Ikabidi nianze kutafuta hiyo elfu tano, na baadaye nikawa napiga simu kila sehemu kama kichaa ili iishe. Kweli inaudhi.
 
Labda tungekuwa na vyama vya watumiaji wa huduma fulani. Tukikuta huyu anazingua wanachama wenzetu tunafanya kampeni ya ku boycott huduma husika, hapa nikizungumzia hawa ISPs.
 
I had Same problem once and I spoke with customers services they Told me to get Highlife I had to use 50000 on phone calls a week... all hell broke loose nikawaambia kuwa mimi nimejoin na highlife for Internet and I dont need or want to use for phone calls so I told them thats means 2GB cost me 15,000 instead of 10,000/= and Airtel for the same amount I will get 3GB and the good thing about Airtel I can get another Bundle as soon as the first bundle finishes without waiting for the week to finish

This Gentleman told me he will pass my recommendations to Uongozi..., but the funny thing is I am still using 10,000/= a week even without using 5,000/= on the phone.., so I dont know what is happening and I dont want to ask incase they have forgotten me


the same to me but not for highlife it is Plan ZRegular 250MB weekly.

Ina maana you have to do that every week.Instead of paying 40,000 you will be paying 60,000

The good thing is, network ya wanaotumia Zantel wote wako kwenye facebook.So when you put an ad kwenye facebook it reaches them all, here I mean more than 200,000 Tanzanians on facebook, young and old.
