The appointment of Bashiru as both the ambassador and chief secretary caught most of us by surprise...
But Bashiru has been fired because he is against the change the constitution movement which will erase Nyerere last stand.... "constitutional legacy" of two terms presidential limits.
The double appointments indicate his stay at Ikulu is temporary before being shipped out to ambassadorial role under ruses of mandatory retirement while even there saves for abuse of public office carry the same can. Politicization of the civil service is the lowest point of this regime as the qualification to be considered for presidential appointment is political party affiliations not meritocracy...your ability to rig elections is now a top qualification for presidential appointments...moral decay is the hallmark of the fifth Reich...
Bashiru had in the past claimed he will never run for public office nor accept any appointment after being CCM secretary general...
His boss now wants him to lick his own vomit...we expect him tomorrow will swallow his wounded pride and take an oath of office ascension...without a shadow of doubt, because he is amoral from point of conception..
Satan loves to out his disciples from their closet...now he is outing his beloved son...Will he deny Satan or embrace him...you already know the answer to that...
Once he has swallowed the bait, line and sinker..
Then the real demotion will follow...the ambassadorial role in a small nation of no repute like Somalia...probably, then he will know he is being punished for talking too much...
During CCM 2020 campaigns, he mooted the forbidden subject of succession ordering his boss to retire....in 2025 but we saw his boss enduring unsavoury moment of despondency and resentment...clearly, Bashiru was not following the script...and he infuriated his boss. At that time we projected he will be demoted to an ambassadorial role but little did we see him being played around like this....an ambassador without a mission statement at least for now..
His boss appeared unimpressed, grousing and plotting for neutralizing a threat from within...and, from that day Bashiru goose was cooked...eaten and excreted all in one breeze
We consider Polepole most likely to succeed him or someone who thinks and acts like him...a bulldog in the Parliament who can push through the unpalatable presidential term limits relaxation...seemly, there are few candidates who really fit that bill....
The good news for CCM they don't count votes but decide to announce results they like...then remind voters what they didn't do...si mlinichagua...tena kwa kura nyingi sana...

The economy will rebuke CCM because the land is accursed for our own sake...

Why presidential term limits relaxation is claiming many a victim?
The real sorry state is deep seated insecurities are imploring hapakazitu to coronate himself as a lifetime president ...he cannot trust his own handpicked successor to protect him....when you commit too many sins you remove yourself from the face of God...and you begin to see things which make you mad..you will never trust anybody because you do not trust God...
But the economy and pestilence, sadly not the ballot box, will have a last laugh...

If Bashiru snubs his boss what will happen to him?
He will be ostracised like Bashite and quickly forgotten
And, will miss a big cheque as chief secretary...even if for a couple of months..and an insane pension till he dies regardless of days he was occupying that post so long as he takes an oath of office and tether that big trap of his...because if he keeps lighting the fires from within he will soon find his pension revoked...
Hapakazitu is exploiting his appointment powers to whip his followers to kowtow his heart desires, and relaxation of presidential term limits tops the menu....it is a case of carrot and stick..CCM craved two third majority in the Parliament for just one reason to dump Nyerere's last constitutional contribution which is presidential term limits....they honour Nyerere in lipservice but in deed they deny him....
As CCM secretary general Bashiru was not a civil servant hemmed in by the civil service Code of Conduct, this is why he was free to direct his boss 2025 mandatory retirement..but now after taking an oath of office he will be bound by it.
And, the civil service code forbids him to criticize his boss...he can sulk but he is not allowed to make his feelings known or he will face the axe....
