if puny tanesco debt leaves zanzibar gasping for not only air but social space as well then trusting it to borrow irresponsibly under the auspices of union government could turn out to erect new tension!
the position of zanzibar in the union government remains precarious and very confusing........on one hand there are veneers of representation which is denied by SMZ when it vigorously seeks more fangs in union matters..........
shouting down or shushing your political rivals and disrespecting their right to speak bespeaks volumes of future administration of opposition................we can reasonably project; like ccm they want to unseat, the opposition will repress civil liberties.........
foreign aid cannot and should not involve weakening our educational system and whatever domestic problems Turks may have with owners of fezza school should not involve threatening the sovereignty of ours
fezza are among the pillars of high standard in our lopsided education system and permitting taking them out on frivolous Turkish complaints of abetting terrorism in their own country remains a thorny yet unsubstantiated subject
there is a growing tendency from repressive regimes all over the world to parlay an imaginary fight against terrorism as an excuse to clampdown on domestic dissent challenging unpopular policy directions..............and fezza seems just another victim in this new trend of camouflaging repression as international terrorism........................we are not that dumb
fezza alumni are shining not only locally but have matched or even surpassed feats known abroad.............my advice just leave them alone and tell turks we have no such authority................to destroy ourselves.......or our education pillars for a couple of "peremende"
