In just over a year, Africa has experienced three successful coups (two in Mali and one more recently in Guinea), one unsuccessful coup attempt in Niger, and an arbitrary military transfer of power in Chad following the assassination of its president.

France Influence
I doubt France has nothing to do with what is taking place in W.Africa.

Don't we claim to be sovereign countries? Yes, we do.Then, where is our independence. Africans are good at blaming foreign countries without considering that what we experience in our continent is own failures and nothing else.

Don't we chant African legends everywhere when we celebrate independence? Yes, we do. Then, why are we blaming foreign powers

If you surpress democracy, a coup is the only way. Mwalimu Nyerere learned the hard way.

A lot of African countries have turned into authorization states, including ours. I won't be surprised if it happened here.

Naunga mkono hoja yako mkuu.
