Madam Samia has a very clear vision. It's to grow the economy through Foreign Direct Investment capital and making the country visible diplomatically.I think it’s now fair to ask; what exactly is her vision for the country?
I’ve been racking my brain for over a year now trying to figure out what exactly this regime of Samia Suluhu Hassan wants to do for the country and I can’t seem to understand it.
The country has a lot of pressing issues but she’s busy gallivanting the world like nobody’s business.
Like filming a documentary and going away for two weeks just to promote it.
Is this a priority for a head of state? Someone please make it make sense!!
The country is riddled with graft, bribery, and corruption- which in my view are more pressing than promoting tourism.
She is not even striving for good governance.
She is not prioritizing revenue collection nor striving for autarky. She seems to be very happy for the country to continue being a recipient of foreign aid.
Has she articulated any policies or policy changes for good governance? Is she even capable of doing that?
She is just happy to be there. Happy to play a leading role in some ridiculous documentary that will be forgotten in no time and which will not have any impact whatsoever.
Naye kawa bongo movie siku hizi.
Bure kabisa.
There is huge achievement projected in one year to come that you can't see it at the moment because of the shorter time frame since she assumed power.
