Modi to hold talks with President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli on a range of issues.

Dar-es-Salaam, Jul 9:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today arrived in Tanzania as part of his four-nation Africa tour aimed at enhancing ties with the continent, particularly in the economic sphere.

“From Durban to Dar-es-Salaam! Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives late night in Tanzania on the third leg of his African sojourn,” Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted on Modi’s arrival in Dar es Salaam.

Modi was received at the airport by Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa and Foreign Affairs Minister Bernard Membe, Swarup said.

In Tanzania, Modi will hold talks with President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli on a range of issues.

The visit will be aimed at giving an impetus to ties with Tanzania, a valued friend in Africa, Modi had said.

He will also be meeting ‘Solar Mamas’, a group of rural women solar engineers from Africa who have been trained under Government of India-supported programmes to fabricate, install, use, repair and maintain solar lanterns and household solar lighting systems in their villages.

Modi is on five-day four-nation tour. He visited Mozambique and South Africa before arriving here. He will also visit Kenya.

The focus of the African tour is on deepening cooperation in areas of hydrocarbons, maritime security, trade and investment, agriculture and food.

Gazeti la India lililoripoti kuwa Waziri Mambo ya nje wa Tanzania ni Member halina makosa kwa sababu source ya taarifa hii imetokana na msemaji rasmi wa wizara ya Mambo ya nje wa India Bw. Vikas Swarap.
Kikawaida kabla ya kuanza kwa ziara hii wahusika were suppose to have done their homework from Tanzania Embassy in Dehli hivyo inawezekana hilo ndilo jina walilopewa na ubalozi wetu kule!.
 
Ukosefu wa umakini kwa vyombo vya habari vya India ni sawa na vyombo vya habari vya Tanzania pamoja na kwamba kwenye tekinologia wao wanaongoza.

Hata rushwa nchini India ni sawa na rushwa iliyopo nchini.

Hata ukubwa wa matabaka kiuchumi nchini India ni sawa na Tanzania.

Kwa hiyo kama unaifahamu vizuri India, huwezi kushangaa kusoma habari yenye basic mistake.
 
I thought the matters would have been how does the economic ties with India on Energy sector work,given the challenges in both countries......
India with her 50% population still in extreme poverty.
Tanzania with its 80%population in rural areas, Yet solar power been too expensive for them to afford.

Sioni kosa la mwandishi, kosa ni la mawaziri kutwa kujifungia ndani, hata waziri wa mambo ya nje naye utadhani waziri wa kilimo! Hawana publicity wala exposure! Wapo tu wamejifungia ndani, watajulikanaje! Acha waendelee kumkumbuka Membe, nadhani yeye alifanya kazi yake kama waziri wa mambo ya nje!
 
Unaweza ukadhani hilo limetokea kwa bahati mbaya,lakini ni ukweli uliodhahiri kuwa pamoja na kuwa BALOZI Mahiga ni mmoja wa viongozi ninaowakubari sana,lakini amepewa uongozi na kiongozi asiyejuwa umuhimu wa "Diplomasia ya nje"

Kama kiongozi wa nchi hana mafungamano na jumuia za kimataifa na amefuta vibali vyote vya kusafiri nje ya nchi,unatarajia mataifa ya nje yatumie "njozi" kuufahamu uongozi wa serikali ya awamu ya tano?Ziara pekee aliyoifanya nje ya nchi ni ile ya kwenda Rwanda "kupokea Zawadi" ya ng'ombe watano,baada ya hapo hakuna juhudi zozote zifanywazo na serikali hii ya kufungua mipaka ya ushirikiano wa kimataifa sasa nchi iliyoamua yenyewe "kujifungia ndani na kukataa mahusiano yoyote na mataifa ya nje",nani atajipa kazi ya kujuwa viongozi wa Taifa letu kama wenye dhamana ya kufanya hivyo wamepigwa " ban" ?

Tumekuwa mabingwa wa kuwakosoa wenzetu ambao makosa yao yamesababishwa na sisi wenyewe kwa kushindwa kuitumia diplomasia vizuri.Kama tatizo ni Wahindi kutowafahamu viongozi wa awamu ya tano,mbona na wetu ni mabingwa wa kutowafahamu watu mashuhuri wa dunia hii? Si tuliambiwa Saddam Hussein ni Rais wa Kuwait,au mmesahau,acha twende hivyo hivyo.

India ina uchafu wote duniani. Siitaki katu. Hivi tukiwakaribisha western europe hatuwezi kusaidiwa kitechnologia etc; of course tunakuwa macho sana wasitulalie! Sitaki wahindi katu!
 
Tatizo ni letu sisi. Je wazir wetu jana alipewa nafas gan mbele ya wageni??
Usikute makonda na yule dada msoma hotuba ndio walipewa nafasi wakat ilimfaa maiga
 
Sishangai na serikali yetu ya kubana matumizi hii ni moja ya faida yake. Tutaishia kujulikana Afrika mashariki tu kama tutaendelea hivi.
