Yes you are right, it was in 1948 that the State of Israel was formed, but when I mentioned this fact to M Mkwawa in a different thread he simply dismissed it because my link was a source from Wikipedia.
Now, using Wikipedia, or not using Wikipedia will change nothing, the fact remain that the Zionist state was created in 1948.
Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 B.C.E. the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 C.E. lasted no more than 22 years.
Jews were exiled from the land of Israel by the Romans in 135 A.D, after they defeated the Jews in a three-year war, and Jews did not have any control over the land again until 1948 A.D
