Below are the duties and responsibilities for the suitable applicant:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Website Design & development

2) Development and maintenance of E-Commerce Systems

3) Development and maintenance of Content Management Systems (CMS)

4) Deployment of web applications

5) Usability Design / Accessibility Design

6) Content Planning & Development

7) Ongoing Website Management

8) Website Audits / Website Evaluation



QUALIFICATIONS

1. The applicant must possess a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or in any other related discipline from a reputable university



2. Good knowledge in HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP and MYSQL is mandatory





3. The applicant must have a proven background in Web Development, with an appreciation for good design concepts, and be skilled in using the latest web standards



4. A good understanding of the commercial application of Internet technologies;



5. Although not a pre-requisite, applicants who demonstrate a working knowledge of Linux/Unix will be highly considered.

2) Website upgrades

3) Content Management Systems deployment

4) Capturing user requirement specifications

5) Troubleshooting web applications

6) Conducting website audits and web metrics

7) Responding to client queries



QUALIFICATIONS

1) The applicant should possess a degree or a diploma in Computer Science or an Information Technology related discipline.



2) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP and MYSQL programming is required.



3) The applicant must exude creativity and innovativeness in problem solving



4) A good understanding of the current Internet technologies and their commercial application



5) Although not a pre-requisite, applicants who demonstrate a working knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Fireworks will be highly considered.
