FINANCE MANAGER
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Reports To: CEO
Department: Finance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Academic Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
Professional Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Mandatory
Registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA)
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting and financial management.
At least 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
Experience in trading, technology, ICT, telecoms, electronics supply or related industry highly preferred.
Experience in inventory management, procurement financial controls, project costing and financial reporting is highly desirable.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting
Inventory & supply chain financial management
Leadership & people management
Proficiency in accounting software, Odoo & MS Excal
Knowledge of IFRS and Tanzanian tax regulations
Excellent communication & presentation

JOB PURPOSE
The Finance Manager will lead and oversee all financial operations of the company. driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, optimizing performance, and providing strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead financial strategy and planning
Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Oversee cash flow, treasury and working capital
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws and regulations
Oversee inventory valuation, procurement and cost control
Lead, develop and mentor the Finance Team
Provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
Coordinate audits and manage financial risks
