Naomba kwenye hili siasa zipungue wataalamu wasikilizwe
Tuna vyanzo vingi vya umeme kwanini tunalala giza jamani? it is pain me coz umeme is my professional

Maganga you are right..! besides the big issue of our government doesn't have implemented long-term goals insteady the only think to extend the hands to the donors solving today problem..!

Better and worth to ask for knowledge than to ask for money...! how long should we be the slave...it's a shame...to have the hop****gov.

WHERE is the problem if TANESCO themself just request a voucher from treasure and go directly at MAKAMBAKO to develop that wind power project???as seen it cheap, and it'll be convinient...!
Wanajamii it's a simple economics here for production win....you need to employ production factors
..resources...we already have so called Engineers...many productive sources and capital...?problem here most of our Eng they don't like to wear there professional..?

[h=3]First wind energy plant in Tanzania[/h] [h=4]january 24, 2011[/h] Very short term projects focus on wind power, with a 50 MW wind farm that will be put into service within 18 months. The installation of the wind turbbines would start early next year.

High oil prices and droughts have made the country's energy scenario even worse than before. The Tanzanian National Development Corporation (NDC) and Power Pool East Africa have entered into a contract to generate electricity from wind power in the Singida region. A new 50 MW wind farm is being developed in Tanzania, near Lake Singida, a central-northern region of this country.

Speaking during a visit to the site in the region where the project would be built, the deputy minister for Industry and Trade, Mr Lazaro Nyalandu, said the installation of the wind turbbines would start early next year and the project will take 15 months before it starts generating the first 50MW for the national grid...
