Local passengers have been complaining against KQ's regular cancellation of flights, delays and cargo loss which are backed up by a group of bullying staff members handling such matters.

"I recently travelled on transit between Nairobi and Dar es Salaam but the experience was horrible, the flight was delayed for more than two hours and when we enquired to KQ staff at Jomo Kenyatta, they responded arrogantly," complained Joseph Mwamunyange, a resident of Dar es Salaam.

Mr Mwamunyage said while waiting for the delayed flight, he spotted KQ's Managing Director, Titus Naikuni who was also travelling and when he approached him to complain, the chief executive equally rebuked him.

"They take us for granted and our regulators have done nothing to discipline this airline which is enjoying a monopoly on the Dar es Salaam to Nairobi route," said Hamza Hassan, a resident of Kariakoo in the commercial capital who earlier last month had his baggage left in Nairobi.

Mr Hassan said KQ is increasingly becoming a rogue airline among Tanzanians because of its misbehaving staff who look down upon local clients.

KQ sucks big time!! Niliipanda ndege zao several times in the past, and will never do that again.
KQ staff are so rude and on top of that are ugly... I have always tried to avoid Nairobi airport and Kenya Airways altogether, sababu mzigo utaibiwa and would rather catch Dar Express!!

Mi nadhani watanifunga jela kabisa maana nitashusha kipondo kiasi ya kwamba wakimuona Mtz siku nyingine ni heshima kwa kwenda mbele.

Inategemea sana. Mimi ni mtumiaji mzuri wa KQ tangu mwaka 2003 na sijawahi kupata matatizo mnayoyasema. Niliwahio kuchelewa ndege mara moja tu na ilitokana na Precision air kuongeza abiria zaidi ya viti. Tukachelewa kutoka Dar ila tulipewa hotel Nairobi.
 
Nafikiri inategemea matatizo yanayopatikana ni kulingana na situation siyo kwamba ndivyo KQ walivyo.

Ninapata neema ya kutumia KQ kama mara 8 kwa mwaka na huwa sipati matatizo haya mnayosema. Changamoto ninayopata ni kama muda wa kuunganisha ukiwa mdogo Nairobi basi mzigo unabaki na ninaupata kesho yake.

Kwa hiyo naamini KQ ni wazuri ila zipo changamoto ambazo watu wengine wanazipata lakini zinategemea na mazingira au hali inayokuwa imetokea siku hiyo, kwani hakuna kazi yoyote ambayo haina changamoto.
 
Watz tunalalamika sana na ni sababu tu may be ni KQ. Mtu ukikumbana na delay mara moja unaivalia njuga kama nini vile.
Kwa wale wanaoishi Europe wanaelewa delays smtms hata masaa saba, huwezi lzimisha japo umelipia.
Cha kufahmu delays kwa short haul flight zipo na hazikwepeki kama hupendi panda basi na sio kulalama kila siku

Mie niliacha zamani kupanda hiyo ndege, na ndugu zangu na familia yangu pia. Wana poor service, incompetent staff, arrogant staff, chakula kibovu. In short niliapa sitapanda hiyo ndege wala familia yangu na ndugu zangu. Nilifikiri niko peke yangu!!!!
 
Tatizo sio delay, tatizo hapo majibu ya kijeuri wanaopewa habiria wa kiTZ.
Unaweza kuwa na boarding pass na usipande ndege... na majibu ya ku.nya juu, ila akija kana ka nzungu... anapitishwa kwa tabasamu kuuuuuuuuuuuuubwa.

Kuna siku nilisafiri na ndege ya KQ kutokea Amsterdam kupitia NBI kuja Dar, bahati mbaya seat nilikuwa nimepangiwa ilikuwa mbovu! Nikaita muhudumu na kumweleza nilipewa jibu la dharau sana. Nilisafiri na kihoro sana maana sikuwa na uhakika wa kufika. Iwapo kiti kibovu engine je? Nakumbuka nilibugia Tusker za kutosha alimanusura nichelewe precision ya kwenda Dar.....niliapa kutopanda tena KQ. Kilichoboa zaidi mizigo ilibaki Nairobi niliipata baada ya siku 3!!

duh,noma....KQ moja alipanda mshkajia angu mmoja toka mumbai-kenya-dar,(mi nilichukua Ethipoia),alinichekesha kwa kudai anaweza afe muda wowote coz A/c zote zilikuwa mbovu,yaani ndani ya ndege full joto...lol.

MTZ mwenyewe ndiyo wewe ambae umeziona changamoto hizo na sasa zitumie kama fursa kwa kuanzisha shirika lako la ndege.
 
For instance,kama wabongo ndio mgekuwa mna-monopolize hili shirika,kisha haya wanayoyafanya na wakenya ndiyo yanafanywa na wabongo (kwa wakenya)basi mgetangazwa vibaya dunia nzima ingejua na istoshe shirika lingefungwa kama sio kusua sua kama ATC.Hawa jamaa hawafai kabisa roho mbaya kama kiswahili wanachozungumza kilivyo kibaya.Kumbukeni yale meno ya faru walivyoiwekea wizara ya utarii ya tz isiuze kwenye soko la dunia kwa roho mbaya zao......Avoid them kabisa!!!!
