[h=1]Introduction[/h]
Earth Sciences Institute of Shinyanga (ESIS) is a Private Technical Institute licensed by the National Council for Technical Education of Tanzania (NACTE) with Reg. No REG/EOS/041 to offer Exploration and Mining Geology, Petroleum Geosciences, Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing and Gemology courses. ESISs head office is located at Ndala in Shinyanga Municipality while classes and dormitories are currently located within the mining premises of Williamson Diamond Limited in Mwadui Shinyanga.
ESIS is currently enrolling Student for Certificate and Diploma to study Petroleum Geology.

[h=1]Qualification and Experience:[/h]
We are looking 2 graduates with background in:
[h=1]Personal Attributes[/h]
· Team player with the ability to work independently
· High level of integrity, honest and sense of responsibility
· Self motivated and able to endure long working hours in new challenging environments
· Committed to deliver work of a high quality that meet and exceed industry standards
· High level administrative skills
· Demonstrate high level of customer care skills
[h=1]Roles and Responsibilities:[/h]
[h=2]The Tutor will be responsible in particular for:-[/h]
(i) Teaching petroleum geology courses at National Technical Awards (NTA) Level 4 to 6 (i.e. Basic Technician Certificate level to Diploma level) but can assist teaching in higher NTA levels
(ii) Conduct examinations up to NTA Level
(iii) Assist in conducting researches and consultancies
(iv) Assist in development and review of curricula
(v) Prepare learning resources
(vi) Assume leadership roles
(vii) Supervise and assist junior teaching staff
(viii) Assist students in their practical projects
(ix) Prepare and submit to the supervisor agreed performance reports
(x) Carrying out other duties assigned by the Supervisor
