Wakuu habari za usiku.,

Bila kuchelewa hapo kichwa cha habar kinajieleza, mimi kuna swala huwa najiuliza nakosa majibu ni kwanini inakuwa hivyo.,
Kwanza; Simu nyingi hasa smartphones(zilizonyingi na si zote) zina internal memory inayogawanyika kwa 8 yaani 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and so on...na kwanini isiwe 7GB, 13GB na 21GB?
Pili; Computers specifically naongelea mpakato, zina bits 32 na 64 kwanini zisiwe 30 au 23 bits.?

Nafikiri inasababishwa na computer nyingi zinatumia binary ku address memory.

kila cell huweza kutunza (address) digit moja tu at a time, 0 au 1,
ivyo basi total number of ways a cell can store a bit = 2 ( 0 na 1 makes 2 ) ,

hapa ni zile sample space, 0 au 1 ambayo huunda 2

Ni historia na standardisation.
Kuna computer nyingi za zamani zilikiwa na 12 au 22 bits, zaidi ni maamuzi ya industry ya computer ili kusiwe na kutokiongiliana kwa vifaa/software etc.
