HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY "EASTER"

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Matthew 28:5‭-‬6 KJV

These where the word of the Angel of the Lord to the Three women who went to visit the grave of Jesus Christ.

That was on the Third Day after Jesus's death. The Tomb was empty, that is; Jesus body was not in the tomb, instead, there was a being shinning so bright occupying the grave. He was an Angel of the Lord sent from Heaven to bare witness of Jesus Resurrection.

Over the years after Jesus Resurrection, the world has been celebrating Easter to commemorate the Day Jesus was raised from the dead.

But, the question is, WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EASTER?

Why Easter?
Why are we celebrating this day?
What's the importance of this day?

Unless we answer these questions we are no different than the world which makes a mockery of Easter. We Christians ought to know what is the significance of Easter so that we can help the world to truly appreciate the day.

Easter is more than a celebration. It is more than eating, drinking, and buying gifts. It is a Day that the Lord Jesus was Raised from the death to usher in The New Creation ".

On the Resurrection Day, Jesus Christ was" BORN AGAIN ".

Romans 8:29 KJV says," For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren".

... That He (Jesus) might be "The First Born".. Among many brethren..

Why the first?
Because, Adam was the progenitor of all mankind. A progenitor is one from whom all others can trace their origin from him.

1 Corinthians 15:45‭-‬47 I says,... “The first man, Adam, became a living person. ” But the last Adam (Jesus) is a life-giving spirit. The spiritual man (Jesus) did not come first. It was the physical man (Adam) that came first; then came the spiritual(Jesus). The first man (Adam) came from the dust of the earth. The second man (Jesus) came from heaven.

So, here we see that the Bible identifies Adam as the first man. And from Adam all mankind were born. And by one man "Adam" sin enter the world.
Sadly enough, Adam and Eve had no children until after the fall. (Romans 5:17-21)

Now, the purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to put to an end of the rule of SIN. And, having successfully accomplished his mission, He had to usher in a New race, a New species, a New Creation (2 Corinthians 2:17)

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ was the Main qualification which made Him a Progenitor of the New Creation (all who are Born Again).

Easter is different from Christmas.
At Christmas the world Celebrates the Birth of a Savior.
The Bible says, "for God so Loved the World that He gave his One and Only Love Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish but have internal life.
Jesus came because God loves everybody. So, it is alright for the world to celebrate his birth. Because is legal for the world to celebrate the coming of the Savior. It is called "Legal Experience".

But on Easter "The Resurrection Day", Jesus Christ was Born Again as the First Born of the New Creation. There was no New Creation before the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

One may wonder why do I say that Jesus was born again on Easter!
Because, on the cross at Calvary Jesus took upon himself the sin of the world and because SIN for us.

The Bible says...
For he (God the Father) hath made him (Jesus the Son) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him(Christ Jesus). 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV

Being made Sin for us, Jesus could not go back to heaven because, he had become the very nature of sin. But, because he had conquered Death, Hell, and the Grave, at the Resurrection Day Jesus Christ was Born Again as the "First Born Again" among many brethren (Those who would be born again in Christ). ROMANS 8:29

Those who are Born Again are the only ones qualified to Celebrate Easter because the have "The Vital Experience" of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We who are Born Again do Celebrate Easter because we Commemorate the day the New Creation in us begun.

Easter is not just a Religious Celebration, but, "The Most Significant Day" for those who have the VITAL EXPERIENCE OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.

If you are not born again, you can make a choice today. All you need is to believe in the Son of God and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. If you do it today, you will have the vital experience of the Resurrection Day and hence, qualified to celebrate Easter, with the knowledge of the significance of the Celebration.

Be Highly Blessed Child of God as you celebrate Easter.

Maana hakuna aliyemwona...

Matthew 27:65‭-‬66
Pilate said, “Take some soldiers and go guard the tomb the best way you know.” So they all went to the tomb and made it safe from thieves. They did this by sealing the stone in the entrance and putting soldiers there to guard it.

Matthew 28:2‭-‬4
Suddenly an angel of the Lord came from the sky, and there was a huge earthquake. The angel went to the tomb and rolled the stone away from the entrance. Then he sat on top of the stone. The angel was shining as bright as lightning. His clothes were as white as snow. The soldiers guarding the tomb were very afraid of the angel. They shook with fear and then became like dead men.

Matthew 28:5‭-‬6
The angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, the one who was killed on the cross. But he is not here. He has risen from death, as he said he would. Come and see the place where his body was.

Matthew 28:9‭-‬10
Suddenly, Jesus was there in front of them. He said, “Hello!” The women went to him and, holding on to his feet, worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go tell my followers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.”

Matthew 28:11
The women went to tell the followers. At the same time, some of the soldiers who were guarding the tomb went into the city. They went to tell the leading priests everything that happened.

Mark 16:4‭-‬7
Then the women looked and saw that the stone was moved. The stone was very large, but it was moved away from the entrance. The women walked into the tomb and saw a young man there wearing a white robe. He was sitting on the right side of the tomb. The women were afraid. But the man said, “Don’t be afraid. You are looking for Jesus from Nazareth, the one who was killed on a cross. He has risen from death! He is not here. Look, here is the place they put him when he was dead. Now go and tell his followers. And be sure to tell Peter. Tell them, ‘Jesus is going into Galilee and will be there before you come. You will see him there, as he told you before.’”

Mark 16:9‭, ‬12‭-‬12‭, ‬14‭-‬15
Jesus rose from death early on the first day of the week. He appeared first to Mary Magdalene. One time in the past Jesus had forced seven demons out of Mary. Later, Jesus appeared to two followers while they were walking in the country. But Jesus did not look the same as before he was killed. Later, Jesus appeared to the eleven followers while they were eating. He criticized them because they had so little faith. They were stubborn and refused to believe the people who said Jesus had risen from death. He said to them, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone.

Hakuna ushahidi hapo. Kama askari waliogopa na wakawa kama waliokufa je ni nani sasa aliyeona?
