B) POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT - EVENING CLASSES

It is ideal for people who have interest or involved in managing technical projects, business projects or developmental projects. This course is structured and aligned to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK- GLOBAL STANDARDS) i.e ten project management knowledge areas.


START DATE: 25th July, 2016 (PGD is ONE year program)

C) POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MONITORING & EVALUATION – EVENING CLASSES

The objective is to develop a core resource of professionals in M&E who, after completing the postgraduate program will be instrumental in strengthening the management, accountability and impact of projects, programme or policies. The program equips participants with knowledge, skills and competences required for reviewing conditions under which a project/programme is likely to succeed or fail, serves as an early warning system for potentially difficult issues, and generate ideas for remedial actions within an organization and entities

D) CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT


If you are relatively new to the project management profession or you are exploring business or project management as a possible career path, take a look at this course. In this course you will learn fundamental project management concepts and increase the skills and techniques needed to ensure successful business and project outcomes.

The Basic Technician Certificate in Business and Project Management is a one year’s program which provides avenues for creativity, innovation, confidence and commitment in addressing business and other development challenges among aspiring project, business and development workers. The program also provides a wide range of knowledge, skills and wonderful opportunities to pursue diploma or degree programs, enrolment for the Basic Technician Certificate courses, resulting in the creation of great opportunities for career development.

Admission Requirements
The minimum entry qualifications for the course shall be as follows:


a) Form IV (O-level) with at least four Ds passes in any subject/NVA level 3 or

b) Form VI (A Level) with at least one principal pass in any subject



E) DIPLOMA IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Due to the complexity of projects, collaborative efforts frequently involve the participation of stakeholders from various parts of an organization. To be successful, project managers and practitioners must not only be knowledgeable of professional best practices but they must also be flexible and adaptable to evolving life cycles, methods, tools and techniques.

The design of the Project Management Diploma Programme reflects the Tanzania Institute of Project Management’s desire to address contemporary demands in the Government, public and private sectors including Non-Governmental Organizations, thereby incorporating such considerations into the development of the project management curriculum.

Admission Requirements
The minimum entry qualifications for the course shall be as follows:

a) NTA level 4 or Basic Technician Certificate from any recognized university/institute

b) Form VI (A level), with at least one principal pass and two (2) subsidiary passes in any of the A level subjects recognized by the government
