Wamewezaje kipindi chote hicho kujitibu??
Nawasilisha.

I'm also wondering where are these so called whistle blowers to jump in..

clinical officers walikua kazini.infact co's huchapa job kuliko medical officers.complicated procedures labda ndio issue but minor surgeries could be handled by co's

These are the types of questions that people who depend on government for all their needs ask.

Kenya has an extensive network of private hospitals. From the larger ones to smaller neighborhood hospitals. The vast majority of Kenyans visit these private hospitals. The vast majority of low income Kenyans use public hospitals, and they are the ones who bore the brunt of the impasse.

I suspect that Tanzanians rely on their bony nanny state for everything and terms like "the private sector" are almost alien.

This is true.

Sasa shida yatokea wapi tena?

Again, low cost private hospitals are a dime a dozen. The vast majority of Kenyans visit low cost neighborhood hospitals. During the strike, I visited my local hospital and paid a paltry $880 shillings and went on to get my medication from a local pharmacy.

You have to remember that well over 50% of Kenyans are in the middle class. Government hospitals are frequented by low income Kenyans for subsidized medication and treatment and the middle class and upper middle class for a range of sophisticated treatments.

We keep telling you that Kenya has a sizable middle class, but all Tanzanians want to talk about is Kibera.

Ask any Kenyan on this thread. When was the last time they visited a government hospital? The last time I visited a government hospital was in 1989, when I was born and the same year I got immunized.

Kenya is not Tanzania.

Again 50 ya low income population in Kenya is more than 20mio people. How do these folks survived the standing doctors strike??
