Job Description for Export Sales Manager​

Export sales manager in Simba will be responsible for overall business development and service of our export sales portfolio, performing the following activities:

• Keeping a good market intelligence of on-going and upcoming projects in the given market by developing and maintaining professional relations with relevant authorities. i.e. Water Utilities, Irrigation Departments, Mining Companies, Major civil contractors & Consultants Etc.
• Lead and Enquiry generation at the right time.
• Conversion of Enquiries into Orders to achieve the yearly Revenue and GP budgets from Export Sector.
• Keeping a close track of the competitor’s activities in the given markets.
• Timely reporting of important activities to Management.
• Performing all the above activities through our Agent wherever applicable and periodic training and evaluation of Agent’s performance.
• Prerequisites for Export Manager.

The Candidate must have a pleasing personality with good communication skills.He/She must be a graduate with a prior experience of Export Sales of 3 years and above or at least a B to B sales experience of 5 years or above.
A person with sales experience of East & central African Market and/or experience with plastics/ pipes will get a higher weightage.
Person can be either or Expat or Tanzanian subject to qualifying on above requirements.

Salary: Its negotiable and depends upon the skills of person.
