U are kidding, right? What then with the complaints about constant power cuts in Tz?
Corruption, insecurity and tribalism.....these are the factors that I believe, lower our Kenya's rankings in those indexes.
Rwanda is above the rest of us cos it has striven more to eradicate those challenges.
Congratulations, Rwanda!

lol! why in Nairobi? what about meeting you guys in Dar-es-salaam and tell him the story? it seems you have a lot talk about, enh? a quick check in your numbering, make me think that you should have started with the question number 2! why not plan to go back to Rwanda? no relatives? mh... may be! but even tourism can bring you here jMali regardless of "Relatives" thing, this is your home!!! you work very hard to try and poison Iconoclastes as you did to some ------ here JF, not this time jMali... wrong number, this Kenyan has proven to be neutral and intelligent for numerous occasions, he sided with you when you tried to make sense! so for you to start poisoning him down the road in these debates is unacceptable... may be it is time for you to tell us what happened to you, why you "they" don't wish to come back to Rwanda? tell us please! may be this Kenyan can in the end sympathize with you... but please tell him the full story! don't lie and definitely not like, eehh, you know eehhh Kagame, oh you know, RPF and all shit... please tell him exactly the truth, what you (EX-Far+Interahamwe) guys did before you were defeated, tell him how you used your relatives as a human shield at all fronts, tell him how you guys are spreading rumors about Rwanda without setting a foot to Rwanda? tell him what the hell is "double genocide" all about and well, at last tell him why you people(Interahamwe) never learn to forgive? people here forgive each other every day, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ56qOq_HaA ... we need to move on...:wink:Hahaha. exactly my point. Now find some Rwandans in Nairobi with the following characteristics:
1. Those with no relatives in Rwanda.
2. Those with no 1, and don't plan to go back to Rwanda.
Give them this report about good governance and all that. See how they will react.

jMali That sounds convincing if the allegations of Kagame and co "owns the economy" are true. Can you then proceed and debunk the rest. Explain why are they ranking better in literacy level, especially the fact that Rwanda beats the rest of East Africa save for Kenya on United Nations HDI - Human Development Index (composite statistic of life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators), how has Kagame managed to pull these "miracles" with the use of his RPF soldiers.

stop being so ridiculous! we all know that you hate Kagame, RPF and any one who appreciates them but for you to go forward and start to compare Rwanda to South Korea makes you look insane! you are simply comparing the incomparable, a case of South Korea is self evident... if a South Korean gets a chance to go out side his/her country, be it for football or whatever, he/she will never return into that country! now tell me anyone who have denounced a Government of Rwanda before being sacked/impeached? I mean even one...Rwanda hasn't striven to eradicate those challenges per se, most achievements are simply accidental by-products of other issues going on there. That's why Kagame doesn't want to leave power. If you go to North Korea and ask, surely they might even surpass America and Europe in those development statistics. Pyongyang would be dubbed the cleanest city in Asia, North Koreas would be said to be the happiest people in the world, and all that. Would they be lying? Absolutely no! Numbers don't lie, but depending on the context, what they mean may not be what we usually mean. Would you move to Pyongyang given the rosy picture?
For dictatorships like Rwanda, figures which have a certain meaning to the rest of us, are quite irrelevant to a common Rwandan. If Rwanda was all that, then all of us neighbours would be flocking to Rwanda, but why are Rwandese illegally migrating to Tanzania, Uganda and DRC? Are they running from development?
1. Corruption as we know it in our countries TZ and KE (the "kitu kidogo" variety) is almost non-existent in Rwanda. Rwanda excels very well on that aspect. But cleverly Kagame and his cronies own almost the entire private sector via "RPF" companies. And within RPF, apart from being chairman, he also doubles as the chief chief accountant! Even the rift among party members few years back that caused some senior members to run into exile was because they dared question Kagame about RPF finances. RPF runs a complex financial behemoth that only Kagame has access to its accounts. So basically he is RPF! How do you explain that a supposedly state airline, Rwandair, does not and has NEVER published its accounts to the public? Can you imagine Kenya airways reporting its financials just to Uhuru? Not the parliament, not a parliament committee, not the Auditor General, nobody else? Who audits Rwandair? Do me a favor find me any recent Rwandair's profit and loss figures.
So, since Mo ibrahim and other international indices measure only standard defined corruption as we know it ( "kitu kidogo", ufisadi etc), Rwanda passes with flying colors. If our presidents and ruling parties owned almost the entire economy, who would bribe who?
To gain a clear picture on what's going on, take time to read this document, at least only from page 14 if you don't have time to read the entire thing. The author is not jMali, but people that were RPF senior members, Rwandan diplomats, army generals... the sort i'd take serious, especially given the fact that most of them survived assasination attempts from you know who.

2. Security: If you think military soldiers patrolling Kigali are there for the "security of the people" as the gov claims, you are wrong. They are there for preventing a revolution. In our countries usually military soldiers stay in their barracks and are only on the street during wars. Which secure country do you know that has even its military soldiers patroling the streets everyday in peaceful times? Isn't that police job? So yes, muggings and "wakora" statistical numbers in Kigali are lowest in the entire region, which mkora would dare steal in such an environment? So Rwanda again wins on this, only because unfortunately the outcome of deliberate efforts by their dictator to retain power is more "security" on the streets. There are few majambazi in Kigali like there are few majambazi in Pyongyang too.
The government knows deep down that it's not in the people's heart. That's why even Kenyan government talks less about Alshabab terrorists than the Rwandan government talk about non-threats like FDLR, RNC, and individuals like Kayumba nyamwasa, Rene Mungezi, Victoire Ingabire, human rights activits, journalists, even singers! Does that sound like a secure state to you? The gov is living in perpetual fear. To this day people dissapearing in Rwanda is a common affair. Kagame was fighting Habyarimana claiming to represent Ugandan refugees right of return, but the fact is, there are more refugees now that he is in power, than there were when he was supposedly fighting for them! If this guy brought security why are there more Rwandan refugees after he came into power? Some of them (not counting DRC Hutu ones btw), fight tooth and nail every year with the UN not to have their refugee status revoked! They don't want to go home! Even when we expelled Rwandan illegal migrants, some of them opted to go to the Ugandan border instead of Rwanda, fearing for their safety back in Rwanda. But again security as defined by these indices is the one we know, where Rwanda excels.
