IF Real signs Pogba, Zidane plans to play Pogba in Kroos' current position, so the German would drop to the defensive midfield and Casemiro would become a reserve. This would allow Real Madrid to improve their offensive game with a much more possession-oriented style as Pogba would press the opponents high up the pitch and Kroos would not have to work as much in defense as if either James or Kroos were playing there.

Rumour:

Real Madrid have reportedly offered €120m for Paul Pogba, including ownership of Alvaro Morata and the loan of Mateo Kovacic according to Italian sources today.

Mediaset sources are also backing up this claim, but that the fee will be split into €50m cash, plus ownership of Morata and the loan with option to buy for Croatia international Kovacic.

As for the package being presented to the player, Pogba will be offered €10m yearly wages to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sky Sports Italia, on the other hand, suggest there has only been an approach from Real Madrid to agent Mino Raiola at present.

The 23-year-old fits the profile Madrid are looking for perfectly due to the fact he’s young, established as an elite player, possesses huge media potential, and is rated by coach Zinedine Zidane.
