Harry Kane is the subject of renewed interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich after spearheading Tottenham’s title challenge.

Kane is the joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season with 22 goals, level with Leicester forward Jamie Vardy, after netting 31 times in all competitions last term.

Kane is the first Tottenham player to score 20 or more top-flight goals in consecutive seasons since Martin Chivers, who achieved the feat between 1971-73. Kane was named PFA Young Player of the Year in 2015 and is a contender for both that award and the main prize this year.

Sources have said that both Real and Bayern have asked to be kept informed of his plans. But Kane is likely to be offered a new contract in the coming months as Tottenham seek to reward their top players for a fine season.

Real and Bayern, who are both in this season’s Champions League semi-finals, have watched 22 year old Kane during this campaign. Real are thought to be considering him as an alternative to Karim Benzema if he is sold in the summer. [Source Evening Standard]

Huge win for Real Madrid tonight in a tough contest to reduce the gap by Barakaldo even further after their shock loss yesterday.

Mariano was awarded a penalty right before the 1st half ended and it turned out to be the difference in breaking the deadlock.

In the 2nd half Mariano was given another penalty in the 69th minute and converted it easily to extend their lead.

Thankfully Mariano struck again 10 minutes later to finish them off and continue his hot streak as top scorer of Segunda B.

It will be very difficult from here onwards since now we have to win every game, I think we were winning league games because we didn't had any pressure to win the league 3 weeks ago, but ever since the Catalan-side started to fumble we are under pressure again, now we can't even rest our best players in small games. Let's hope for the best, and may we win the league.

We really have tight games. I remember the season that we won La Decima, both barca and Atleti slipped and gave a clear road to Liga's glory. But Mr Eyebrow couldn't utilize.
