Jose Angel Sanchez Press:

"RM is punished for foreign players take the field under age 18 without being registered and this is not true,"

"All the players are registered in the Federation, as the Federation itself has reported to FIFA,"

"RM has always complied with FIFA regulations with respect to players between 12 & 18 years, We've always met all requirements"

"Real Madrid will appeal FIFA sanction, as it is unfair and inappropriate."

"The arguments are so wrong that lead to the absurd decision, All people know the case of Zidane's family or Garay's brother,"

"The club is confident that the appeal will be effective,"

"The case affects 39 players but the club is sanctioned for 8 cases,"

"The penalty is dictated by things that have not happened, We are very confident in our appeal"

Real Madrid have renewed their interest in Ricardo Rodriguez.

Sergio Ramos: "Thiago Silva is a reference of mine in World Football."

Just to clear things up

-Can they recall loan players?
Yes. Real Madrid and Atlético can call back players who are away on loan, as long as no money changes hands between the two clubs involved.

-Despite not being able to register anyone, can they still sell players?
Yes, the ban does not stop Real Madrid or Atlético from offloading players.

-Does the ban affect club coaches?
No, coaches are not included in the FIFA transfer ban. In other words, Real Madrid and Atlético can change coaches if they want to.

-Can they bring players through from their respective B teams?
Yes, the FIFA ban does not stop the two clubs from bringing players through the ranks to strengthen their first teams.

The transfer ban imposed by FIFA could really hurt Real Madrid if the club doesn't act adequately. We're short of a striker and a left-back.

Spanish sources are now claiming that the signing of Zinedine Zidane’s son Luca contributed to the FIFA transfer ban for breaching rules over the transfer of minors.

They have information that the signing of 17-year-old goalkeeper Luca Zidane is 1 of the cases leading to the transfer window sanctions.

If this proves to be true, it would be a significant part of the story for Madrid and their new manager Zidane.

The Frenchman is only one game into his tenure as boss of the club after replacing Rafa Benitez earlier this month.

His son, Luca, is a member of Madrid’s youth team and is highly-rated as a goalkeeper for both club and country.

Official:

Real Madrid have made an official announcement to refute FIFA’s decision to penalise the club with a transfer ban that will begin in June 2016 and run until January 2017.

The club argues that the youngsters at the centre of the controversy were registered with the Spanish Football Federation.

The announcement also goes on to state that the club complied with the Football Federation’s requirement that authorisation from the FIFA Players' Status Committee be acquired and that the Federation was notified of all the youth set-up’s players.

Real Madrid will appeal the sanction to the FIFA disciplinary committee and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Oddly, unlike the Barcelona case, Fifa has not fined the Spanish Football Federation, the body that issued licenses for these youngsters, on this occasion.

Ernesto Bronzetti, an Italian super agent who has worked with Real Madrid on many transfers, spoke today about the sanction handed to Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid:

Should Madrid treat the rest of the January window like their summer?

"Real Madrid will have to make signings now, they’ll have to anticipate next season ahead of time”.

Morata?

"I don’t know if Real Madrid will be interested in acquiring his services now they have Zidane on the bench. They would need to offer Juve 31 or 32 million euros now in order to renegotiate because the buyback clause can only acted upon in the summer, but the ban will be in effect by then”

Pogba?

"Half of Europe wants him, but there are only two or three clubs capable of clinching his signature. We’ll have to see what strategy Florentino uses now following the sanction. Zidane really rates him but Madrid are hardly struggling in that position”

Other targets?

"I can state that Pjanic, Bacca, Murillo and Icardi are not on Madrid’s radar. Perhaps Atlético are interested though."

Ronaldo's future?

"As for Cristiano, if it was only 99% sure that he’d stay before the transfer ban, then it’s 100% certain now”.

What do you think they should do madridistas?
