POST MATCH ANALYSIS: (La Liga MatchDay 2 -Real Madrid 5-0 Real Betis)


DEFENCE:
Danilo-Ramos-Varane-Marcelo started in Real Madrid did a very good job overall which is clear from the clean sheet.Danilo wasn't very good throughout and but he has a lot to offer for the club in the future and he showed glimpses of class today.Marcelo n Ramos were great and Varane was good throughout the game apart from a miscued tackle that led to a penalty But Keylor Navas' penalty save and another important save in the first half is the talking point of our defence and is a question mark on all the transfer situation that surrounds him and David De Gea.If United gets Keylor Navas + Cash for DDG then it would be a pretty good piece of business for them.



MIDFIELD:
Modric and Kroos were really good at the heart of Real Madrid team and both of them compliment each other in their double pivot roles.Kroos assisted James for his second goal of the game.Kovacic and Casemiro replaced them in the second half and Casemiro has already started to show how important he can be for Real Madrid this season.I personally feel that CDM's are of great importance for any successful side,they don't get their names in headlines daily but those are the silent performers who can lead a team to glory,something we lacked last year.Casemiro can be a strong and combative presence for us in the midfield this season against strong sides and can come on from the bench for Benitez to protect the lead.He also assisted Bale for his second goal although I'd say that that goal was only Bale's class act.



ATTACK:
Attackers really needed to perform after a series of goalless draws recently and they did so in a fine manner.Gareth Bale opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the second minute after a pin point perfect cross from James Rodriguez,James scored a scorching free kick later.Benzema scored Real Madrid's 3rd goal after a beautiful piece of play and headed Gareth Bale's cross into the net,James scored an overhead kick after Benzema's pass a few minutes later to score Real Madrid's 4th. Isco was brought on to replace Benzema right after that and I think Benitez should continue this approach by starting James Rodriguez and subbing Isco in in the early minutes of 2nd half because James is the kind of player who can not only score goals from nowhere but also produce scoring opportunities for other players and has a better attacking sense than Isco.We should not drop points now so preferring James over Isco till the squad gets used to Benitez's system won't harm.Ronaldo kept trying and got many opportunities but couldn't convert his chances successfully and was unlucky.Gareth Bale scored a screamer in the 89th minute from far out and we got to see a glimpse. Madridistas should stop criticising the coach and give him some time to adapt team to his ideas.

Well deserved 3 points in the bag and a great game to watch for Madridstas. Hope we continue to watch these kind of performances from Real Madrid.
