The catalans are in a weird spot as some members of their board are against the signing of the kid. Apparently he has said(a while back) some pretty damning stuff about them via his Twitter. He's pro spanish, and hates the catalans.

Theo Hernandez fits Real Madrid's gameplay. He is a great dribbler of the ball and is quite good with the crosses. His blistering pace down the flanks caused many problems for La Liga teams last season.

He Scored 3 goals and made 2 assists last season for Alaves, and also played as an AML last season for Alaves. Only Filipe Luis (74) completed more dribbles than Theo Hernández (65) of defenders in La Liga last season.

Theo is pretty solid at the back and hardly makes defensive errors. He is Perfect definition of a modern day full-back and the plus point is that he is just 19, yes "NINETEEN". He still has so much time to develop his skills and improve his game. Getting him committed to the club for next 6 years is a really good move from the club for the long run.

Theo surely will be a perfect replacement for Marcelo in future, once he starts to slow down and even in Marcelo's presence, Zidane will surely give Theo some playing time.

Marca's Cover | "Ceballos: Yes to Madrid but under one condition, to not be loaned. If Madrid accept they'll have to sell James & Morata."

Marca broke exclusive news last night about Mbappé.
Real and the player have reached personal agreement, 6 year contract with a salary of €7m.
Real told him that they'll come with an offer (to Monaco) as soon as Morata and James are sold.

AS | Ceballos' arrival will fasten James' sale and Zidane asked the club to listen to offers. If he stays, his participation will be less.

Manchester United are signing Lukaku, interest in Morata is over. [SkySports]

I have also seen reports that Man United have created those rumors to trick Madrid into accepting their 80m euros with no variables. If it's true, then they must've forgot Real Madrid are more than happy to keep Morata, hence playing hard ball.

Doctor Niko Mihic takes over Real Madrid's medical team

Real Madrid are making changes to their first-team medical staff this summer and they have recruited doctor Niko Mihic as their new head of the department, who replaces doctor Jesus Olmo.

Olmo left on July 3, along with surgeon Mikel Aramberri, after he'd taken on some external projects.

Mihic, a Croatian, has a close relationship with fellow countrymen Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic, as well as being very close to club president Florentino Perez.

Besides directing the Early Prevention Unit of Madrid's HM Hospitals group and practicing in Montreal, Canada, the doctor also taught medicine at CEU and served as a medical consultant for Air France and KLM.

Moving forward, the doctor will now dedicate himself exclusively to Los Blancos and will be present day-to-day at Valdebebas, before departing with the club for their visit to the United States as part of their upcoming tour.

The keys to the last 24 hours of Morata negotiations

The situation surrounding Alvaro Morata's transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United remains complicated, and the move now looks further away than ever before with a fee being agreed for Romelu Lukaku's move to Old Trafford.

Negotiations began with Madrid wanting 100 million euros for the Spaniard, in order to complete a move that the striker himself had asked to push through.

Real were reluctant to let their player go and felt no need to sell, but it did look as though a deal to take Morata to England would be reached, it was only a matter of time.

Eventually, Real Madrid agreed to accept 80m euros with an additional 10m euros dependent on how many goals he would score for the English club, but differences remained and both clubs were separated by approximately 5m euros.

The protracted nature of discussions between United and Real resulted in the former turning their attention to 'Plan B' - Everton's Romelu Lukaku - who was sold by Jose Mourinho during their time together at Chelsea.

Many in the English media are suggesting that a deal is close to complete but it is still some way away. Should it go through, Antonio Conte's attention will likely move in the opposite direction from Lukaku to Morata.

Mourinho himself has been in constant contact with Morata and has done everything possible to make a move go through, but the final decision will be made by those upstairs at both clubs, who have not always found it easy to agree with one another.

Morata is expected at Real Madrid training on Monday, but for now he is disappointed that his move to Manchester has not yet been made official, while Real are not willing to budge on their demands for the striker.
