Real Madrid have entered the market for 17-year-old Palmeiras midfielder Alan Souza Guimaraes, who recently shone at the South American under-17 Championship as Brazil swept to the title.

According to Brazilian sources, Madrid have employed the services of agent Juan Figer to register their interest in the Palmeiras and Brazil youth number 10.

Widely viewed as one of the country's brightest talents, he has already played for the under-20 national side despite only recently turning 17.

Real Madrid have been keeping an eye on Alan for a year since the youngster played against the Bernabéu's junior C team in Madrid in the final of the under-17 Club World Cup in 2016.
