Looking at the interests America has in the Philippines it wouldn't do them great if they plug an Iron-Wedge in that relationship. They may chose to frustrate the country but now is too early, the wind is not pushing their boat. Unlike Libya, Kuwait, Egypt and Brazil the large section of country's population is in support of Duterte's move on South China Sea, Weapon's trade, looting out organised crime in the country and ultimately uninstalling US MILITARY BASE in the archipelago.
For more than half a century Pro-American governments have failed to live to the expectations of the people due to political inexpedience. Now, the Leader comes and he's an Anti- America, he desires a great shift in paradigm and promises a chicken in every pot and a car in every backyard: Why can't the people swarm up in support of him like locusts?
In the future Duterte may be in trouble, but if the CIA buzz in now it may end up miserably like in Vietnam or Cuba. Its easy to tear down a divided country; just as it is to tear apart a wall with cracks.
