Qatar will invest 1,2bn euro into Greeces gold mining industry.
The investment will create around 1,500 work places.
The investment plan was signed in Athens by Greek PM George Papandreou and Qatar emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Greece has been desperately trying to aid its ailing economy and avert possible default.
