- On social media, a piece resembling a Daily Nation newspaper page has been shared, containing a notice allegedly from the ODM Party. The notice lists three agendas, including the creation of an additional position of Deputy Party Leader to accommodate Hon. Winnie Odinga.
Another agenda mentioned is the endorsement of Hon. Babu Owino as a candidate for the position of Secretary General of the party.
Verdict: False
The information is entirely false and was not published by the Daily Nation, as claimed. Therefore, the document is manipulated.
Through its official social media accounts, the ODM Party has denied the information and clarified that:
Why this is FAKE:
1) The Party Leader does not sign NOTICES OF NDC/SDC or any other meeting of party.
2) A NOTICE of a meeting of such a magnitude canNOT be under 21 days.
3) The Daily Nation Newspaper has no record of publishing the purported notice.

Daily Nation itself stated that the circulated newspaper clipping containing the notice was not published by them on March 18, 2026. Apart from that, the date on the newspaper is incorrect—it is written as Wednesday, March 19, 2026, instead of Thursday.
