Hadithi ni ya kupika, no doubt. But it was intended to be effective, and I think the writer has, to some extent achieved this end. It shocks, it scares, it warns, it prompts you to pause and think - and yes, feel deeply - for the girl and life's pitfalls. Whether she is (morally) right or wrong to do what she does now to other men, I feel compelled to "judge" her, or the writer of the story, in that, obviously she makes good money from her trade , BUT she seems to be frittering her life away on a foolish mission of revenge. HIV need NOT be the end of life: and I feel that one owes it to oneself to enjoy the full experience of this life that we have been given so freely and generously by God or whoever/whatever is responsible for its creation. She can be a hooker, make money AND still complete her dream of getting that college degree. But she seems to want revenge for its own sake, which is such a wasteful, futile act. Examples :- Hitler killed 8 mil Jews, but right now we have more Jews in their place - and they actually have more power, financial & political. The latest in a long line of Hutu - Tutsi mass murders has resulted in the Tutsi having more power in that country than ever before. SO whither revenge??!! It never works. You have been handed a raw deal, so what? Get up, face it and give your life some meaning.
And by the way, someone mentioned a photo, and that the girl is a looker: where is the foto?
