Well said Mnairobi. Nyerere had the vision you highlighted of promoting other reqional municipalities. He tried to industrialize and modernize towns like Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya, Arusha, Tanga etc. His vision was never full realised, much due to poor run of TZ economy, but the ideas and foundation laid are still in place. The problem, at least with the the Mkapa Govt and probably Kitwete's as well, is that their players behaved like your Prof. Saitotis and the Co.; the self centered and unethical beings. Moving the capital to Dodoma is almost dead now. There are vitually no regulations these days that promotes investment in other part of the country, only in majukwaa but never entertained in practice. Let's give Kikwete the benefit of the doubt and see if he has the brains to see this through.

It would be nice to lunch at a fish market restaurant in Dar and enjoy the beach and dance at Bilcanas in one weekend and enjoy the next in Nairobi at Tamambo Grill and an evening at the Carnivore. What a wonderful EA we have.

Afrika ni kwenu kwa hiyo inabidi uwe proud na Afrika. Nairobi so far inatuwakilisha vizuri waafrika na MUNGU akipenda siku moja Dar au Mwanza nayo itakuwa hivi. Wengi tuko Amerika na tumekuwa Ulaya lakini bado tunafurahia kuona vitu vizuri vya nyumbani.

Kwa Maoni yangu sidhani kama maendeleo ni Majumba mazuri ama magari mazuri, maendeleo ni pale kunapokuwa na usawa katika nyanja zote, kunapokuwepo na huduma zote muhimu za kijamii kama Afya , Elimu and so on ! ninapoongelea usawa ninamaanisha kuanzia Ugawaji wa mali na madaraka, wananchi kushirikishwa katika masuala nyeti yanayohusu nchi yao, Uhuru wa kuchagua na kutoa maoni.
Tukiweka uongo mbali Wanachi wa Kenya ni wachapakazi hasa, bila mfano, nimekwishapita kenya mara kadhaa nikitokea Dar es salaam , nimejionea mengi , shuguli za kilimo n.k ,pia Askari wa Kenya walikuwa wakitusimamisha kila baada ya kilometa chache, at least more than 10 times! Kwa nini? it is perspective of their Leaders, ninadhani!

Man we are always attacking each other. 'kenyans are thieves tribalistic animalistic, most of them are poor. Tanzanians sijui are slow stupid' or whatever, jeez. Africans are always attacking each other instead of helping each other, we would rather import potatoes from europe than from each other. No wonder blabk people and africa will always be backward. Europe is working together so is asia and the americas, but for as no we still cling on our little pennies that even the kawaida citizen doesnt ever see. Then there is this kidzogole guy here who is sooooooooo proud of western cities that he and his people had nothing to do with their building, i always laugh when i read his posts. It just hilarious and people say its the kenyans that are brain washed. Loool. Ati u cant compare nairobi with sijui zurich, man u remind me of Ame and Zidi it the book Amezidi if anyone has read that play. Im sory just had to get that off my chest.

Halo we Mkenya/Mnairobi, first of all, I would like to explain to you that, I am not proud of any other country, other than my best country Tanzania. If I have been anywhere in the world, it means nothing to me than my country regardless of whatever insult you would pour to tz. I know it is not true for you to say that, Tanzanians are "slow stupid people" or brain washed, though it might be true to say that, kenyans are animalists, thieves, dirty with smelly socks and everything. I have lived in your country for a long time, I have worked there.I know your country. You are not good people that africa should be proud of, unless you learn not to be proud and tribalists. the image you are presenting about Nairobi, is the same image every Kenyan has in mind, to think that they are everything, and no other people have what they have.

If there are people who lived in your country before, they will help me, especially those who come from Tanzania. they will help to explain to you that, you should not be proud of a very small development that you have, you should aim at higher than that, because that level is a very backward one. Nilijisikia vibaya sana, kuona wakenya wengi wanawaona watz kama watu wajinga wasiosoma, watu wasiokuwa na akili kama wao, watu wasio na miji kama yao etc. but the only place one can say is good in your country is Nairobi, therest of the country is not even compared to Tz or Ug. you have more poor people that we have here. you don't have land in your country that is why you keep on fighting and killing each other like that. this is the reason why we don't want you here in tz, I tell you, 90% of tzs, dislike kenyans, because of your behavior. if you would have asked any tz whether we should opt to join with Uganda,burundi and rwanda leaving kenya aside, you will get 70% of a Yes answers. why not you?

you keep on migrating to other countries to steal. you were twenty thousand in south Africa(wakati wa hizi fujo) and everyone knows you that is why you are the second target by black south africans after Zimbabweans. the other people are somalis. because of your behaviour. you are like indians. how can a 20,000 kenyan citizens go to live in s.africa, while the tzs are only 100?, beause of your behaviour you are so much squized in your country that you cannot survive, that is why you always keep on searching for other countries to migrate like insects. Mmejaribu kuja tz, tumebana, nendeni somalia na sudan. we don't like you people, the better we cooperate with any other country on earth, but not you. Mwafrica wa kike, I respect you..hahaha. heshima mbele mtu wangu. Nilikuwa nimefurahi ulivyosema kuwa"tutajenga taifa la africa siku moja", mawazo mengi yakanijia kujiuliza kama hicho kinawezekana. Kitu nilichojifunza ni kwamba, mtu ukiwa nje ya africa, ukiwa umezungukwa na mawazo ya wazungu ambao hata hawajui vizuri africa ikoje na matatizo yake yakoje etc, unaweza ukashangaa unaathirika na mtindio wa ubongo wa akili za wazungu. ukajawa na ushauri wa wazungu ambao ni wa juu juu tu, ambao haujafanyiwa research kiundani. hii kitu ogopa sana. Nikiwa huko, watu wengi huwa wanasema"jengeni africa iwe moja"hasa federation. lakini hawaijui africa vizuri, cha kwanza wanaongea hivyo wakiwa biased halafu ni wapungufu wa mawazo yanayotoaga majibu sahihi.

Fikiri, nchi moja, inayogombaniwa na makambare kama manne hivi,(Arabs, chinese, Western countries,etc), ambazo kila kambare lina interest zake, ziungane kuwa nchi moja. wakenya wana mawazo yao, wasudan wana mawazo yao, wasomali ndo kabisaa, south na mawazo yao ya kuua waafrica wenzao, west africa ndo kabisaa, waarabu wa africa kaskazini ndo mpaka leo huwa wanajitambulisha kuwa wao sio waafrica hata wakiwa nje...wasije wakaonekana kama maskini. maendeleo ya hizi nchi ni tofautitofauti, kila nchi ina historia yake mpaka hapo ilipofikia na ina malengo yake iliyojipangia kufikia. kuna uneven development and distribution of natural resources sana hapa africa. Je, hao ambao ni ahueni, watakubali wawabebe hawa ambao ndo mahututi?, hao wenye ardhi kama tz watakubali hao ambao hawana kama wakenya?, Je, hao ambao wameendelea kidogo kama s.africa, si kila mtu atahamia kule na kusababisha fujo kama zile za kuuwa wahamiaji?, nchi zingine ndo zitakufa kabisa badala ya kuendelea.

nchi zingine ndo zitakosa kabisa wataalam, kwasababu ile free movement itasababisha watu waende kule wanakolipa zaidi. mimi kama lawywer, nitaende sehemu yenye mzunguko mzuri wa hela sehemu nitakayo pata clients wengi kuliko sehemu ambayo watu wana matatizo lakini wananyambaza kimya bila kumtaka lawyer kwasababu hawana hela ya kulipa.

Kilichobaki hapa mkuu, ni kila mtu aendelee kivyake tu, labda cha kufanya ni kushirikiana kimachale tu kwa regional organisations ili kwa groupings kama hizo, kodi zipunguzwe kibiashara nchi na nchi, kutembeleana nk. ila halitakuja liundwe taifa la afrika, kama lilishindwa kuundwa kipindi kile cha kupigania uhuru.
