Nature and scope
The successful candidate will work in the
Portfolio Management Directorate and
reports to the Manager, Monitoring and
Supervision – Projects under
implementations. He/she will be responsible
for advising on monitoring and supervision
activities related to projects assigned to
him/her.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure loan documentation is complete
and that all conditions precedent are met
prior to disbursement of funds.
2. Ensure loan funds are used by project
promoters for purposes approved by the
bank.
3. Confirm the technical specifications of the
proposed plant and machinery to meet
the objectives of the project.
4. Ensure the implementation time
schedules are adhered to.
5. Visit project sites and preparing call
reports.
6. Prepare periodic reports on the
performance of projects and defaulters.
7. Follow up on the repayments of all loans.
8. Ensure the securities pledged to the bank
do not deteriorate.
9. Provide continuous feedback on
performance of borrowers and identify
actual or potential problems early so that
timely adjustments to project operations
can be made.
10. Ensure operating and financial
performance of each project is
adequately assessed, early warning
signals identified and corrective measures
taken in a timely fashion.

Qualications, Knowledge and Experience
1. Bachelor Degree in Business
Administration, Economics, Finance,
Accountancy, Banking, Building

activities in respect of the Bank credit
portfolio for an effective risk management
and establishing Agency relationship with
brokers for developing and implementing
competitive insurance packages to meet the

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance to the relevant
Divisions/Departments of the bank to
ensure that all insurable assets of the
bank are adequately insured against
agreed risks.
