📍
In Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, we’ve seen shops closing and looting incidents blamed on “foreign nationals.”
But is this narrative fair, or is it a distraction from deeper economic problems?
📌
I believe scapegoating outsiders only fuels division while ignoring the real causes: unemployment, inequality, and poor governance.
What do you think?
- Are foreign nationals being unfairly targeted?
- Or is there truth in the claims made by local leaders?

The Beauty about Africa is that we so much hate each other to the Point that we are sure that all our Problems can be fixed by blaming others instead of taking responsibility. The Black Empowernment Program failed in South Africa.
I hope that Africans remember who the enemy is.

"We used to pay R20 for a loaf of bread, and now it's R30 since the foreign spaza shop owners left the area. Their shops were taken over by locals, and suddenly we're paying more for almost everything. When we argue with them and ask why they're charging more, they tell us to go back to the foreigners and buy it cheaper. They know we don't have a choice. We just have to pay more if we need those things now," said Zandile, a 37-year-old single mother from Chesterville, Durban.
