Mwanamuziki maarufu akamatwa Rwanda

Mwanamuziki mashuhuri nchini Rwanda pamoja na mwanahabari mmoja wamekamatwa kwa tuhuma za kuwa na uhusiano na kundi la upinzani pamoja na kushirikiana na waasi.
Kwa mujibu wa polisi ,Cassien Ntamuhanga ambaye ni mkurugenzi wa, kituo cha redio ya kikristo alikamatwa Jumatatu huku mwanamuziki Kizito Mihigo akikamatwa mnamo Ijumaa.

Wawili hao wanatuhumiwa kuwa na uhusiano na chama cha kisiasa cha (RNC) kilicho na makao yake nchini Afrika Kusini.

Pia wanadaiwa kuwa na uhusiano na waasi wa Hutu walio katika nchi jirani ya DRC.
Chama cha RNC kiliundwa na Patrick Karegeya,aliyepatikana akiwa amefariki katika hoteli moja nchini Afrika Kusini mapema mwaka huu.

Washirika wake pamoja na familia yake wanalaumu serikali ya Rwanda, kwa mauaji yake madai ambayo Rwanda imekanusha vikali.

Polisi wadai kuwa wawili hao pamoja na aliyekuwa mwanajeshi Jean Paul Dukuzumuremyi, walipanga mashambulizi ya kigaidi kwa lengo la kupindua serikali na kuwaua maafisa wa serikali na pia kuchochea ghasia.

Wanadaiwa kushirikiana na waasi wa FDLR ambao baadhi ya viongozi wao walishiriki katika mauaji ya kimbari ya mwaka 1994 ambapo watu 800,000 wa kabila la Tutsi na wahutu wenye msimamo wa kadri waliuawa.

Inaarifiwa bwana Mihigo alikuwa na uhusiano wa karibu na chama tawala cha (RPF),na kwamba kukamatwa kwake kumewashangaza wengi.

Rais Paul Kagame aliingia mamlakani punde baada ya mauaji ya kimbari kumalizika.
Wengi wamemsifu kwa kukuza uchumi wa nchi hiyo huku baadhi wakimlaumu kwa kukandamiza uhuru wa watu kujieleza.

How Kizito Mihigo planned to gain power through terror

In a statement released on Monday, the Police announced it had arrested artiste Kizito Mihigo and two accomplices, Cassien Ntamuhanga and Jean Paul Dukuzumuremyi, following a thorough investigation in a plot to conduct terrorism acts in key buildings within the City of Kigali and assassinate Rwandan leaders.
A fourth suspect, Agnes Niyibizi, was also arrested a day later. She was a cash courier, ferrying funds to facilitate the terror operations.
Ntamuhanga worked for a Christian radio station while Dukuzumuremyi is a former soldier. Initially reported missing by his family, Ntamuhanga was arrested while attempting to flee the country.
Initially, there were suspicions that Kizito was being framed, with many shocked at his alleged involvement in acts of terror.
But with more evidence of Kizito’s actions coming to light, the facts to date speak for themselves.
What the evidence shows
During his handover from the Rwanda National Police to National Prosecution, yesterday, Kizito admitted to charges of working with the FDLR, a terrorist group based in DR Congo, and Rwanda National Congress (RNC), a South Africa-based organisation founded by Rwandan fugitives.

Both FDLR and RNC have been linked to grenade attacks in the country.

When he joined, Kizito was assigned the task of mobilising and recruiting fellow youth into the terrorist organisations.
According to a reliable source involved with the case, part of the terror plot involved assassinating at least four senior officials in government, parliament and security agencies.
The other plan was to blow up the city’s tallest building – Kigali City Tower (KCT). The planned attacks were being coordinated by one of Kizito’s co-accused, Dukuzumuremyi.
Upon his arrest, Dukuzumuremyi was found in possession of six hand grenades which, according to Police, were to be used in the attacks.
His reward for the attack on KCT was Rwf3 million of which he is said to have received an advance payment of 10 per cent that was delivered by Niyibizi, the cash courier.
The source also revealed a plan to overthrow the Rwandan government using the FDLR militia, principally made up of the perpetrators of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda in which over a million people were slaughtered.
Kizito, as the lead youth mobiliser, was to fly to one European country, from where he would record a declaration supporting the violent overthrow of government.
The ‘declaration process’ was being coordinated by senior RNC member Callixte Nsabimana, alias Sankara.
It is alleged that Kizito was identified to be the face of the ‘declaration’ because of his popularity as an artiste.
Kizito told reporters that his motivation for being part of the operations was that he believed he would be given a leadership position with a change of government.
The suspects are scheduled to appear in court next week when prosecution is expected to present its evidence that includes electronic communication containing the details of the said operations.

If Robert Kajuga aliuwa ndugu zake, kwa nini Huyu Kizito asifanye hivyo hivyo? Yaani hili lijitu huwa linasahau ki rahisi. Yaani wewe you are trully a dimwit.

1. Robert kajuga alificha ndugu zake "hotel Rwanda", so that he could kill tutsis like kizito's family while pretending he was a hutu. Kizito mihigo was one of Kajuga's victims, now who is a dimwit?

The Christian music gospel singer Kizito Mihigo and Cassien Ntamuhanga, the director of a Christian radio station, were arrested on Monday, after almost a week of disappearance from their home and families. Their arrest and subsequent parading before the press raises many questions and leaves a lot to be desired.

Why were they picked and kept in a safe house for this entire long? Where were they kept? Why were they kept and later to be produced for the confession before the press?


Even if some one is not a qualified psychologist you cannot fail to read the mind of Kizito Mihigo and his co accused, the whole circus is staged meant to smear Kizito Mihigo for the reasons we are still investigating but above all to tarnish the good image of the new Rwandan opposition the Rwanda National Congress (RNC)

But in the unlikely circumstances that its true Kizito Mihigo and his co accused are now followers and members of Rwanda National Congress, then the RPF regime and Kagame in particular should look for the causes of the political anxiety in the country and why these young people are so hungry for the political reform in the country. The tactics of parading these young men and make them confess is not the cure for the political changes the whole country is yarning to achieve.


In the same manner and style while chief of staff of the Ugandan army, under Dr Milton Obote’s civilian government, Amin seized power in 1971. He made himself president, with the rank of field marshal, and after eight years of power left Uganda a legacy of bloodthirsty killings and economic mismanagement. Parliament was dissolved; no elections were held; secret police – most of them in plain clothes – exercised absolute power of life and death; and the courts and the press were subjugated to the whims of the executive. With some economic achievement that in fact is visible on the streets of Kigali owned by the regime and its immediate circle the international community is under illusion that Kagame is the lesser evil to rule the tiny Central African post genocide country.


However, the death toll of the RPF regime will never be accurately known. While, Idi Amin’s death toll is estimated, according to the International Commission of Jurists in Geneva, to be around 80,000 and more likely around 300,000. Another estimate, compiled by exile organizations with the help of Amnesty International, put the number killed at 500,000. There is no doubt that Kagame has surpassed the number which is estimated to be around six million (6.000.000), both in Congo and Rwanda during genocide and post genocide in the neighboring Congo.


This is the song Kizito Mihigo composed which was awaking the Kagame regime (those who died in what is not called genocide should be remembered as well). Some people construe the song’s intention as impartiality in the long political history of Rwanda that culminated in genocide was not welcomed by Kagame and his close political elite who want to use genocide as monetary industry to keep milking money from the international community but equally to silence all political critics of the Kagame brutal leadership.


Again, like Amin, Kagame is neither well educated nor particularly intelligent. But he has a peasant cunning which often outflanks cleverer opponents, including his political opponents and even his civilian president Pasteur Bizimungu, who was displaced in the 2000 bloodless coup. Kagame is well gifted with a kind of animal magnetism; a quality he uses with sadistic skill in his dealings with people he wishes to dominate. Indeed, this explains the otherwise bizarre decision by the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to support and accept to be one of the political advisors of the man compared to be the Pinochet of Africa.


While Kagame is killing many Rwandans and of course many more from the neighboring country Congo, Mr. Tony Blair is defending Kagame and his regime in the same manner Bob Astles defended and continued to advise President Id Amin Dada while many Ugandans were being butchered. Amin paraded hi opponents and made them confess and some were shot publicly to scare all those who would be challengers but this did not deter his removal in 1979 with the combined force of Ugandans and Tanzanian soldiers but most importantly with some Rwandans like Gen Fred Rwigema. Therefore Kgame’s tactics of parading innocent Rwandans like Kizito Mihigo and force them to confess before the Media will not save Kagame and his regime to fall like his counterparts in the region.
