This guy is keen to mess everybody around him.All what he understands is war, war, war. He started with DRC,he lost,he went to Rwanda he lost,he tried South Sudan he lost,Joseph Kony came up----pia amepoteza. He tried Moi claiming Malaba town was in Uganda.....When Kenya came up guns blazing ans sensing imminent lose....he backed down.
He is now up against Migingo......and this time.....he has gotten a sleeping dog in Office(Kibaki).........but he is forgetting about one thing.....The Kenya People act like comrades themselves.......they dont need their Millitary to bring Museveni down........they know what they call economic sabotage.Uganda's 80 per cent of all imports come through Kenya.......and in Kibera....the Railway Line has been uprooted........they will be clossing Busia border early next week.

What a shame! Do we really need this confrontation between Kenya and Uganda? Kwa nini Museveni hakusema kwamba Migingo ipo kwake tangu awali..
I agree. He is a disgrace.

Nyinyi watu munanijazz...Yani the way people (Kenyans) are drumming up for war of some sort with Uganda, one might be tempted to think going to war is like some kind of bash(party) that people got to and have all the good stuff with lots of fun.
The way the Kenyan media has covered this issue can only be described as incitement(pure and simple) and knowing Kenyans and their overly and naive habits of taking everything the media says and reports as if its the gospel truth, then the rail issue was to be expected they seem to have fallen for the bait line, hook and sinker.
The question is, those that are shouting themselves hoarse, what other information do they have apart from what they are being fed by the media which of course is twisted to fit a certain editorial and commercial angle and some expert wanna be's whose only access to tangible intelligence reports is when they pass through a police station and see suspects being booked in.its no wonder they are calling for war.
Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you want see it,the powers that be have access to Intel that is real time non speculative and that info is what acts as a guide and determines on what the course of action to be taken.
So every one sober up and this soap opera of some sought ought to end.

Pia mi hujazika mbaya nikiona vile media ina focus na kufeed watu na negative info peke yake.. Sijui what they benefit at times by inciting the masses, coz hii story ya migingo kumekuwa na biased reporting.. story kama ati kuna curfew, ati taxation ya 500 ksh, which are total lies.
Lets see what will happen this coming week coz kama reli imeanza kungolewa, ujue kuna noma. Watu wa Western wakivuka border, tuji brace for war, coz I know that goon M7 will not swallow riotous Kenyans wa cross na ku mess 'stabilty' ya nchi yake.

Hiyo yote ni kwa ajili ya heka moja tu?
kwa nini wasiondoe watu pale waweke baruti wakilipue halafu kizame no more war.

Musevenis ego wount allow that, its rather we go into war than him watching the piece of rock sink. Wacha wapimane nguvu tuone nani bingwa, Lets just be spectators and ignore the incitements from our media houses.

Has anybody tried holding some sort of a poll to find out what the residents of the said island want? Inawezekana kabisa wao wanaviews zao tofauti, maybe even to be part of TZ coz it seems the island nations of Africa are quite keen to join the United Republic of TZ lately!!

Museveni was the first to come out and support the Kibaki/Michuki/Kenyatta axis of evil baada ya kuiba December 2007 election results. He knows where his bread is buttered. Your attempts to portray M7 as some kind of war-monger are at best juvenile.

.......or they could form a Republic like East Timor. Wacha wafanye referendum!

Boss, is this your point of argument? You think because the goon supposedly supported Kibaki, he could take a chunk of the motherland without any one pointing fingers or hurling stones, guess he chokozad the wrong side of the border.

Have you ever heard of of diversion politics? Thats the art that Museveni has mastered over the years, trying to dwarf the problems within his country by focusing on other things of less consequence but look big when put on the public domain.

Ni poa mkuu Smatta

That was my illustration. My argument is that M7 cannot bite the hand that feeds him. The Migingo issue will be resolved amicably.

If there is anybody who needs to create a diversion its the goons who stole the elections. The coalition government is about to implode and there are real fears the country could slide back into mayhem. Migingo is a ploy by the PNU goons to whip up patriotic sentiments in order to avert the impending disaster. It may work for some time, but soon enough the masses will see through the charade and put the spotlight back on the thieving goons.

The noose is tightening around their necks. Lazima watarudisha walichoiba. Most of it, not all.

The picture is much larger than Tz, its not always about you and your country,

M7 hatapenda kumsumbua Kenya over such a small island as 80% of her goods pass through Kenya!

Since bullets won’t move Museveni to let Migingo go, deny him oxygen

You don’t negotiate with a person like Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni. He does not understand that kind of language. But you don’t go to war with him either, for that would be worse than foolish. You simply deny him oxygen for a few days.

The trouble with people like Museveni is that they have the memory of a warthog. The warthog is a little animal with strange facial features. But it is not these features that confound you about the little fellow. It is the brevity of his memory. Occasionally, he comes under attack from the bigger predatory animals. He naturally runs away to safety. But he quickly forgets that he is under assault, shakes his ears this way and that way and bends down to begin browsing at the grass. He forgets very quickly.

That is why Museveni has forgotten that in the early 1990s, his undisciplined NRA brigands were fooling around the Kenyan border when President Moi decided enough was enough. He denied Uganda oxygen. Mzee Moi closed the Kenya-Uganda border and mobilised the Kenya Police on the Kenyan side of the border. After a few days, Museveni began understanding the meaning of the word asphyxia. Museveni quickly ate the humble pie. He dropped the warlike pronouncements he had been making on Uganda Radio. Moi summoned him over to a little tent in Malakisi in Bungoma and read him the Riot Act.

That is how you deal with Museveni when he begins itching for little islands that do not belong to him. You don’t waste valuable resources like ministers’ working time and Kenyan taxpayers’ money sending them to Uganda to talk about Migingo Island. Nor do you detract from important business in Lusaka, Zambia, to discuss Migingo with Museveni. A man who came to power by the proverbial sword, Museveni lives by the sword. He holds dialogue in contempt. Like the German general who was called Otto Von Bismarck, Museveni believes the great questions of the day shall not be solved by speeches and resolutions of the majority, but blood and iron.

In 1986, Mzee Moi was working hard to help take peace to Uganda through dialogue. These were the famous Uganda Peace Talks. The bush military elite around Museveni derisively referred to them as the ‘Uganda peace jokes.’ Mzee Moi thought they were talking peace. Museveni and his men knew they were joking about peace. While they kept talking, Museveni was blasting his way to Kampala. He reached Kampala and installed himself as a successful warlord. He has since maintained himself in power with a blending of unbridled militarism and a mockery of democracy.

But Museveni, for all his self-proclaimed military prowess, is hardly more than a spoilt bully. He has never defeated a disciplined army. He takes a lot of futile pride in the fact that he scattered away the drunkards and serial robbers that Idi Amin, the Obotes and the Okellos – Lutwa and Tito, misnamed an army. These hoodlums fled at the sound of rocket and mortar fire of the advancing children that Museveni used to install himself into power. Hardly four years after the children of Uganda made him President, he was spoiling for a fight with Kenya. It was then that Mzee Moi denied him oxygen. Elsewhere, his fabled NRA almost succumbed to the primitive army of Alice Lakwena, who mobilised an army equipped only with sticks and stones. They believed they were fighting under divine instructions from the Lakwena spirit. Lakwena’s army eventually succumbed to Museveni’s gunfire. But this is hardly the kind of thing to thump one’s chest about. In the north, Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army goons have given him hell for 23 years.

It was only in 1998 when Museveni rode on the discipline of Paul Kagame’s RPF to claim a share in the events that overthrew Mobutu Sese Seko from Zaire and installed Laurent Desire Kabila. But it is instructive that once again they defeated an army of drunkards and thugs. When they fell apart, Museveni tried fighting Kagame over DRC’s mineral wealth in the East. That was when he got to know what it is to fight against a disciplined army, even from a small country like Rwanda.

But it is not worth fighting Museveni over Migingo or anything else. The President of Uganda may like behaving in hostile fashion towards his neighbours, but the people of Uganda are our brothers. And even Museveni rules over them by force, having become a serial rigger of elections. Unfortunately, in order that we may sort him out, it appears necessary to deny our brothers oxygen for a few weeks. Then their man will wake up. It is unfortunate that we will also pay a little economic price, as will our other brothers in Rwanda and Burundi. But how else do you deal with a bully who thinks the army is everything? Close the border.

Museven is good, very good, he knows how to protect what is his. anawafahamu aina ya watu anaogombana nao, wakenya.

Itakuwa shida. Patakuwa hapatoshi!

Kayundi,

If what you are saying is true(Museveni a Disgrace) Then it is also true Kenya is also "A Disgrace to East African,s?"

It is also in my beliefs that Museveni is of no threat. Hence, the threats of economic hardship by Kenya thus, Kibaki- during global financial crisis is also conterproductive. Im yet to see!

Fafanua, tumemchokoza nani? Ni ardhi gani mnadai Wakenya wataka kuinyakua? Ive never heard Kenyans saying they want a piece of Bongo, never.. I wonder where you pick up such lies.

Kenya didn't steal the assets after the collapse of EAC, we divided them equally amongst the three member countries. I guess we just preserved and maintained our assets much better than you did, and you mismanaged yours, thats why you usually say that we stole your end of the bargain, and your leaders back you on this.. I usually wonder where your politicians were when we were stealing EAC assets.

By the way fishermen crisscross each others country, so dont expect anything less from kenyan fishermen, watavuka border na wavue samaki 'wenyu'.
