Claim
A screenshot circulating on social media posted by @ShamimNambasa , a pharmacist, National Unity Platform supporter , LC5 Woman Councillor for Kawempe, and 88th Guild President of Makerere University alleges that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted a message on X threatening Buganda institutions, attacking the Kabaka and Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, and warning Buganda media houses to stop covering the detention of former Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago described in the post as- " The idiot I captured and later handed to police."
What We Know
• The Kabaka is the Head of one of the biggest Cultural Institutions and tribes ( Baganda) in East and the entire Africa as well. The current Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom is King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi (ii), Together with his Katikkiro ( prime minister - Charles Peter Mayiga) they form the top leadership.
•In the circulating post , " the big nossed baboon Kabobina" refers to Bobi Wine -(Evidenced by how he addresses him )the leader of the National Unity Platform Party, and "his dog" Joel Ssenyonyi - Leader of opposition in parliament, the " Idiot Captured " and later handed to police is the detained Former Lord meyor and Lawyer Erias Lukwago who was Captured on Monday and Later Charged with Misprison of Treason in relation to Dr.Besigye' Case.
•It is true that General.Muhoozi Keinerugaba, the first Son and Chief of Defense Forces, and Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda has recently made several controversial posts regarding the detention of Erias Lukwago who was arrested on 15th of June. In those posts, he publicly claimed responsibility for the operation, referred to Lukwago in derogatory terms, and shared comments that attracted widespread media coverage.

More Searches of his timeline and archived discussions surrounding the claim did not reveal any matching tweet containing the quoted language or alleged threats.
•No credible news organization has reported the alleged tweet targeting the Kabaka, Katikkiro, or Buganda institutions. Given the absence of the post on Muhoozi's verified account, the lack of corroborating evidence, and the absence of reporting by reputable media outlets, there is no basis to conclude that the screenshot is authentic.
