Can you define color by giving the synonym "hue"

I would tell you that it something that could be represented in various other senses. People tend to think of water and cool things as blue, in the same token, tend to think of nature and trees, leaves, grass as green, inter-alia, heat as red or yellow. Black is the color you see when there is no light. Silver is the color of new metal. Brown is a funny color which stretches across things like wood and chocolate, and coffee and sun-kissed skin but also rusty old metal and poo.

People still think of colors in terms of warm, cold, and earthy. I have no idea how you'd describe neon or metallic colors other than gold or silver so I'd steer clear of them at first.
