Several houses have reportedly been damaged by lightning in Oluvu Village, Anzupi Parish, Awiziru Sub-county, following early morning rain showers.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m, when lightning struck during the rainfall, setting some houses on fire.
Details of the extent of the damage and whether there were any injuries or casualties are yet to be confirmed.
