FOUR CHILDREN KILLED BY HEAVY RAINS

Four children are reported dead after two homes were swept away in Rukiri Parish, Bihanga Sub-county, Buhweju District, following heavy rains on Thursday night. The incident occurred after hours of heavy rain caused Ndurumo River to burst its banks and change course, sweeping away the two homes. Residents rushed to the scene and used hand hoes to clear the debris and rescue those trapped. One child was rescued in critical condition, while another remains missing as rescue efforts continue.
