How I solved it : I downloaded the BIOS from Intel site. Put it on flash drive. changed the jumper setting of the motherboard to recovery and flashed my bios. and things went back to normal. HOWEVER I CONSIDER IT VERY RISKY , THE COMPUTER WILL BECOME UNUSABLE IF BIOS FLASHING FAILS . DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Plug the charger in.

On start up keep tapping either F1, F2, F10,(Be Aware that some manufacturers use F10 for system recovery!) Esc, or Del, to enter the BIOS set-up. Look for "Factory Default" or similar, and return the settings to default. Save settings and exit.

Unplug, remove the battery and press the power button for 10 seconds.
Restart.

Go to Dell support* and download/install the correct new BIOS version (flash the BIOS).

how i solved it : I downloaded the bios from intel site. Put it on flash drive. Changed the jumper setting of the motherboard to recovery and flashed my bios. And things went back to normal. However i consider it very risky , the computer will become unusable if bios flashing fails . Do it at your own risk

kuna setting za "dock" pale unapobofya f2 wakati wa kurestart. ukishaziona hizo setting unaweza kudock then mambo yakaenda fresh, jaribu kuitumia hiyo. sorry kwa kuchelewa kujibu
