Mwanza iko na airport Kwanza? Ebu tuonyeshe hio kibanda yenu. Kusema Ukweli, Kisumu is more developed infrastructure wise. Mwanza is a bigger town but pathetic in terms of infrastructure. Mwanza haiwezi qualify kuwa City Kenya. Linganisha Mwanza na Eldoret.

So is that all what makes Kisumu more economical powerful than Mwanza? International airport!!! do u know Mwanza has four bottlers (2 soft drinks and two beer companies)! And is the hub of fishery in the whole of Lake Victoria according to the EU stats? do u have an idea most of the mining companies (be it gold or diamond) conduct their businesses in Mwanza? do u know Mwanza host biggest ship building companies in the whole of the Great Lake Region? agro-processing, chemical and textile industries? How big is Maseno University compared to Saint Augustine University of Tanzania that takes over 15,000 students currently? Or compared to catholic University of Health and Applied Sciences? Do u have an idea how many construction companies exist in Mwanza that deal with mining (underground pits)? How good is ferry transport within Kisumu compared to Mwanza? though u have just had a new airport in Kisumu still the Mwanza's is more busier than Kisumu's and can accommodate all type of planes and expansion is underway at the moment! How many hotels and pubs of Standards r in Kisumu? How many International schools r in Kisumu? Is Kisumu having largesr Sahara media group (TV, radio and newspapers) that broadcast the whole of Kenya like Sahara does in Tanzania and the region? Can that town sustain such a large media house?

Wacha story mingi. Mwanza is not a City. Plus what makes you think Mwanza is ahead of Kisumu? Kiambu is more powerful economically than Mwanza and Arusha combined. We are talking about Urban infrastructure. Kisumu is more of a consumer and industrial economy but way developed and composed than Mwanza. Kisumu is a city that has been stagnant for ten years but it's making a comeback. Kisumu is like a broken Range Rover in a garage being compared with a new tractor (Mwanza)

I said campuses, you can look for that information if you are so much in need of it. Maseno university main campus is based outside Kisumu city but it has a campus in Kisumu town.

Kisumu is way cleaner than NAIROBI. The CBD is completely clean.
The only City in Kenya with a daily cleaning program. If you have been to kisumu recently then you'd relate with the "tich tire" reflectors all over the place.
