Kikwete meet Maalim Seif at State house Dar es Salaam

Early today President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has meet with Vice-president and Presidential candidate CUF Maalim Seif at state house in Dar es Salaam.

This come after Zanzibar Electoral Commission cancel election results in Zanzibar claiming the election was not fair though Civic United Front(CUF) party didn?t agree and claimed they won election hence demanded ZEC to continue announcing the selected presidential candidate.

Civic united Front (CUF) claimed the same voters voted for Tanzania republic presidential candidates and the results stand so why in Zanzibar were discarded also stated the decision were made by Jecha himself without following the procedure.

Situation in Zanzibar became tense after home made bomb exploded and announcement of Seif to let people demand for their rights though political solution for Zanzibar election disputes seems to work hence restore peace in the Islands.
