That our figureheads for sovereignty are shuttling around the corridors of Washington waiting for audience with Obama, and the winner is touted loudly as a "first" begs the irresistible analogy of groupies trying to get the attention of a rap/ basketball star.

Kenya?Added to this was the trip he is planning on when
he comes to Africa....Kenya haimo!Reasons for this are
there for all and sundry to see.

Uliyosema yote ni kweli. A State Department official I met recently talked about JK's visit with Obama. He says Obama mentioned his love for Kenya but does not approve the way the coalition government is running/not running things. Thus his visit to Ghana, which had a democratic election recently, the opposition won and all is smooth, coupled with his meeting with JK whose country is quiet and peaceful, is sending a message to Kenya to get their house in order. Raila was here when JK was here and the official said his request to meet with Obama was turned down by the White House for those same reasons.
